Andre "Flash" Miller just ran away, around, and past the double team of Collison and Gay.... What?

The game is pretty even with the exception of FG%. Proving that yes, so far in this season when the Kings aren't inhuman offensively or have at least 1 inhuman game from someone they just can't win most of the time.

I swear, I can't see how this team did any preparation in preseason on defense. They can't even double effectively and it's why they need to avoid any defensive scheme that involves help. They just aren't prepared whatsoever.

Rudy Gay... The team needs you without Cousins... This has been an issue for a couple years. Stepping up as first option

I feel let down by fate this year, the Cousins injuries to start the year the year we were looking to push

Look bad games from good players happen, good teams find a way to compete when that happens. Giving up 48-49% shooting on a consistent basis is a surefire way to find yourself on the losing end more than not.

After this one the Kings should be right back as the worst defensive team in the league should the TWolves hold on to their percentage.

Another double..... wow.

They clearly don't have a legit plan defensively, they need to dumb it down and stay man to man and switch, period. The rule should be help over one arms length and that's it. Never lose contact with your man. Just totally embarrassing. I honestly can't remember a Kings team since Adelman (the glory years) less defensively prepped than this one. I can't believe it.

Darren with the worst +- on the team, and still not looking in rhythm and even Karl said in tonight's Sacbee the Rondo/DC pairing isn't solid right now. I think there are two issues, one that you hope Collison gets back to where he was as one of the teams top four players that needs to be on the floor. But the other issue at play is the chance we may not be able to re-sign Rondo in a cap rising bonanza this summer, and you don't want to alienate DC who could still be your starter next season. But all of that is speculation. Here is hoping to Rondo re-signing and this pairing being able to somewhat co-exist for a few mins

Look at some point he might have to just throw out the whole defense thing anyway. I thought there was some potential in this game when he went super small and played super fast with Acy and Omri in the front court and Rondo/Collison in the back. Maybe when Cuz goes to the bench he can just turn on the after burners and speed the game up even more maybe with Gay at center even.

I'm not so sure Rondo putting up the numbers he is is going to sway too many teams. They'll all point to the record without Cousins as a provocation why his ballooned up numbers don't have that much impact. And to an extent they may be right. Point back to his best statistical years and you see a progression mostly heading downward in terms of team record the more impressive his stats got. If there is a position to be a high priced FA at it's not PG. There are still too many teams set at PG these days.
