Freddie is one of the players that most Atlanta fans would actually not be upset about if he gets traded.
I look forward to him being traded if Atlanta actually acquires some actual value.

this is very odd.

why do you say that? He's really good.

I disagree. Freeman is signed in to a really good contract for a long time. I admit that Simmons was my favorite Brave, but us trading Freeman would be much more detrimental.

Simmons is a great fielder but doesn't give you much of anything with the bat. He's fine trade bait.

I wouldn't trade Freeman though. He is a franchise cornerstone. I mean as a Nats fan I'd love it if they did, he OWNS the Nats(hits damn near .400 against us I think)but you gotta build around someone and Freeman is a damn good piece to build around. Hits high average, good power, plays good D(albeit 1B which is not an important position defensively). Young and under contract too.

Simmons isn't just a great fielder, though. He's one of the very best fielders to ever play the game. It's tough to part with that just to add a couple more pitching prospects to the farm, especially after losing Kimbrel and Heyward last season.

Speaking of Kimbrel, just saw he was traded to Boston. I don't know if the Red Sox will be any good next season, but he'll have Fenway rocking either way. Good for him.

Ben Badler says the Padres got better prospects back for Kimbrel than they gave the Braves.
just lol.

Freddie Free is available as well.
It's a fire sale in Atlanta.

Correa and Bryant win ROTY. No real surprises.

Baseball has so much exciting young talent. Future of MLB is very bright.

Now just need Harper to win MVP. :D

Arrieta robbed 2 Dodgers out of the Cy Young award.

Good for him and the Cubs.

Dodgers in on both of those guys as well.

both might end up costing more than theyre worth.
I'll take Jake McGee at a slightly lower price tag

I don't care about money, but I don't want to give up top notch prospects for a one year rental of Chapman.

Jordan Zimmermann the first domingo to drop?

Not sure I understand the Tigers mode of thinking btw

edit:
btw, Higga. I know YOU didn't mind letting Zimmermann walk but if the media and rumors are any indication, the Nats didn't seem to put up much of a fight.
