I went off the deep end and bought a PS4 and about 8 games. Should last me till the PS5 comes out;)
Haha nice! I assume most of it came with the bundle with the console or you purchased the games separately? I use to be a hardcore fps dude back in the day, now I resort to nba 2k games here and there.
I bought the 1 TB COD bundle. Then I started grabbing bargain priced games that were highly rated such as Witcher, MGS, Far Cry, Batman, etc. It's a bit more than I had planned on buying, especially since I'm in school, but like I said, they should last me a loooong time.
I will probably buy the NBA2K16 game to finish things off, as my last bball game was, embarrassingly, NBA Live 2006!

That's cool brother! Games you mentioned should fairly easily give you a fun time as you're in school and last you a while.
Yes! Try copping 2k16, you'll be blown away how fun it is, especially as you played live 06 lastLive died ages ago too.

One of the reasons I haven't bought a bball game in so long is that the quality has been fairly poor based on the reviews I've read. There were a few NBA2K games that rated well, but I didn't ante up for them. Now that I've got my shiny new piece of hardware, I'm bound to use it.
On another note, my wife was close to buying one of those 78 inch curved TVs today. The price is crazy though. We've got a 42 inch Vizio, and its perfectly fine, but it'd be nuts to have one of those big boys to play some games on.

Yeah, I stayed away from purchasing 2k games each year, been picky. I say go for it!
78 inch curved t.v?Damn! Might as well never go to a cinema ever again then
They've been pretty neat deals on Black Friday on televisions, keep an open eye.

They had a 70 inch Vizio for $1500 or less, IIRC. That would be fine with me. Just have to convince the wife;)

Your wife is the one that wants the better TV?

I'm the one who's frugal in the relationship, largely because I'm back in school and don't have much money to spend. She has a pretty good job, and she's a woman, so she likes to shop and wants the best of everything. She just bought a camera that would blow your mind, just because.
I'm in trouble once I start making money again. Big trouble.

Did that hand vacuum cleaner get cheaper on Black Friday?

With shipping and taxes, pretty much not

LOL. In the US, Amazon.com makes you buy over $35 for free shipping so that I always end up buying extra crap that I don't need. Oh well I ended up not buying anything this year. It's the most cost effective shopping method. Staying put lol

Yeah man, the states have so much nice things with good pricing. We're the opposite. Amazon.ca is a ghost town. Chit makes me jelly.
Though luckily Amazon.com ships to Canada too, well depending on the items.
