I just got home, how are we ahead? (Given the way we've been playing lately).

Did Toronto miss their plane and sent their D-league team instead?

Our defence on derozan had been solid.

Gortat has been strong on both ends. Beal has been attacking well.

Toronto are turning the ball over a lot. If they rein that in we're in trouble.

Good effort. Lots from Gortat. Lots of free throws. Bad shooting from Wall.

Horrible shooting but a lead.

Second adjustment. Dudley started at PF.

Humphries is now backing Gortat at C.

After giving up 111 last night, so far only 39 by Toronto.

What happened to our high powered, high pace offence from the pre season?

Can't watch the game but I see Wall has 13 shots. What is he doing? Bricking like crazy or driving to rim with poor finishing?

Flat out missed his first 9 I believe, 2 of those he got jobbed by the refs IMO, but then hit like 3-0. Getting in a better groove. His floor game has seemingly looked better and the defensive awareness seems to have returned... for now.

Good to see Porter hit that 3 at the end of the half after that travel and mental lapse, needed to redeem himself.

Oubre ain't gettin no love from the refs :nonono:

The offense still needs to get better, the defensive effort looks better but I'm not sure how much of TOR's woes are their own then our new found give a damn.... w/e the case, hope it lasts...

I hate to sound like an OG, but hell with the space and pace. Wiz played good D last year and, beyond the stats, it fueled their running game. They gotta get concentrating on D and let the offensive game come to them.

No, it really didn't. There was no relationship between the quality of their defense and the quality of their offense. Tonight, for example, their defense is good (or Toronto's offense is a wreck), but their offense is a horror show. Pace doesn't necessarily have much of anything to do with offensive or defensive efficiency.
