That's a bad loss, I was frustrated, just by watching Kevin Love trying to defend Scola(not so hard to do)
Kevin Love gave up so many easy points and Scola kept the Raptors in the game by himself in the 1st quarter.
Again, the Cavs can't hold onto lead and it seems like they vanish in a second.
Kevin Love remains to be a big weakness on the defensive side and teams keep exploiting him down low,
He isn't contesting shots at the rim and is playing soft.
Also, it seemed like he was a bit fatigued and flat footed on his shots from mid range.
Mo Williams can't defend for lick, the Raptors scored 52 points in the paint which is way way way too much for a jump shooting team.
I believe Dellavedova would have made a difference, obviously.
I had no problem with the offensive end since the Cavs were missing 4 key players but I want Love to get the ball way deeper and be more aggressive than those weak flat footed lean back shots, delete this shot almost completely, these are not efficient.
can't wait to have the full healthy squad back, someone needs to change the medical team since they **** suck.
It was the 1st game of the season I kept yelling at Love and cursing the **** out of this team.

The Cavs might have a real serious problem if Mozgov can't defensively get back to the level he was last season. They have no rim protection outside of him. TT/AV are PFs and they just arent good at it. I think this game might have exposed a potential weakess which would be a backup center

We need a backup center, that's obvious, Mozgov has looked bad compared to his "old" self.
Cavs need to target a prospect center in the draft of 2017 that can block shots, Mozgov is that important.
I wonder if the Cavs might be able to find a gem like Heat's Whiteside somehow.

TT is a perfect backup centre.
We are depleted and not playing hard enough. Loves defense has completley regressed. He doesnt even try to look like hes making an effort. Hes getting exposed every game and refuses to rotate and put his body on the line. Literally EVERY team we've faced this year has targeted love. Its a huge concern.
Mozgods form is a legitimate concern too. We need him at his defensive impact of last year for any shot to beat warriors.

Delly, Shumpert, Mozgov - make a difference defensively.
Love has been getting exploited defensively, teams are simply going after him at this point. The last few games he's more than matching the effect with his offensive production though.
The need to play Sasha into his role while Moz is out. I understand he's limited, but he is also disruptive.
LeBron needs to stop pouting and get back on defense, then close out on shooters too. There's a good ten points a game left on the table because he chooses not to participate consistently.

Defensively TT and Varejao aren't centers. Case in point last year before the mozgov trade the cavs defensively were one of the leaders in points in the paint allowed.

No doubt we need Mozgov to beat the Warriors, Mozgov has allowed us to close on shooters without getting exposed inside and without him our defense is mediocre.
Lebron acts like a princess and he needs to focus on how to be a quiet leader and stop trying to impose himself, it's gonna rub people wrong eventually.

I really wish love and TT communicated better together on defense. They are terrible help defenders. Moz really covers their butts when he's in there. I'm not worried about moz. I'd rather he be rusty and out of shape in November rather than may or June. He will work himself back into shape. Even moz at 50% is a better interior defender then TT or love.

TT is naked defensively without Delly in front of him or Mozgov behind him.

Love went for 21 points and 13 rebounds. He was the most efficient scorer on the floor against the Raptors. Scola went for 15 and 7. Your Love hate is irrational.

I don't hate him,
you are probably blind to the fact that he is a terrible championship material player with his lackluster defense.

Re: PG: Cavs-Raptors No D
Love is terrible defensively that for sure. He is on a hot streak right now scoring the ball, but the cavs defense is really suffering at the moment. Hopefully when Shumpert comes back that will help some but the cavs as a team are going to have to improve a lot if they want to win it all
