How will we fare on this road trip?

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Sun Nov 29, 2015 8:10 am

Toronto
Brooklyn
Detroit
Washington
Memphis
Chicago

I am not sure what I think. I think I'd be satisfied with 2-4 because this is a tough one. Cleveland had to beat Brooklyn at the buzzer...I was thinking that would be an easy one. Toronto has been playing great, but they are on a b2b. Washington not playing as well as you would think. I don't expect us to win the last two. I say we go 2-4, but could see us winning less or more easily, less if our players are still banged up...hopefully that isn't the case.

I think we should beat Nets, Pistons and Wizards. Really hope to beat Raptors to end that losing streak. Two last games will be tough.

2-4 would put us at 9-13. We'd be at a severe disadvantage in terms of making the playoffs. I have to think McD would have his finger on the panic button at that point. THE WOLVES PICK OW IT HURTS.

Less than 3 wins means that hot seat starts to turn up a notch on Hornacek.

I think we win our first 4 games but lose last two. Until this team proves that they can beat Grizz&Bulls which struggled against them for 3+ years now I can't pick us.

Would be nice finishing road trip at .500 @ 11-11.

I don't think a severe disadvantage. BPI's projections show you probably only need like 38 wins to get the 8 seed this year. It could end up more like 42, but I imagine this team will get better, not worse.

If Tyson is back I don't fear the Grizzlies like in previous years. The combo of Gasoline-Randolph has eaten our lunch for the last several years but I think this new, quicker and more fast paced style the Suns are running, plus shooting 30 3's per game will carry the day for the Suns.

I hate when auto correct changes Gasol to Gasoline. :D Our biggest issues with Memphis has been the lack of calls. The game quickly gets out of hand, and we can't recover.

I think we win them all until Chicago.

I think we'll lose to Memphis like we always do.
Bulls will be tough, I can see it going both ways.

One of Knight or Keef has to show up for us to win in Memphis. Given their defense, I wouldn't count on either.

Here's hoping Leuer really sticks it to his former team.

Wizards just sign Ryan Hollins. I wonder which one of our players he will try and hurt.

We should 5 but if we don't win at least 4 it would be pretty disappointing.

Wow. 5? Would be nice, but I figured there was only one that we definitely SHOULD win (Brooklyn) and even they have been playing better.

Four of the teams we are facing has a better record than us (and Washington is close) AND we are on the road without our starting center, and most in the east time zone, so playing later at night than accustomed to.

Most of the time it seems like you are down on the team but you seem to be much more high on them than most here.

If we were to win 5 out of 6 road games, at that rate we should win 34 out of 41 of our road games. Even if we fared the same at home, that would put us at 68 wins, but you'd think we would do even better at home.

I guess it's good you are so high on our squad, but I suspect you might be a little too high them and may be setting yourself up for disappointment.

3-win is enough and good for me. 4-5 would be awesome.

Don't you mean that they are playing earlier in the night than they are used too? Isn't the East Coast 2 hrs ahead of AZ? So if they play at 7:30 in NY, it's only 5:30 in AZ. Either way, I don't think 2 hrs will be much difference after a day off from the last game.
