That and Skiles is allowing him to break away from the offensive scheme. Not surprised that he and Dipo are doing much better but Fourny isn't getting the same looks.
Skiles didn't change the system.
The difference was the spacing and lanes available created by Frye/Nicholson and the limited usage of Oladipo with the ball in his hands (possible by staggering him and Payton).
Fournier got plenty of wide open looks vs Bucks and in fact tied for most shots attempted (12). The game was a blow out - which is why he only played 28 minutes. Vs NY, he played limited minutes but that was because he was having a terrible shooting night 1-9 not because he wasn't getting the same looks, his shots vs NY were primarily those same wide open looks he normally makes - just wasn't hitting anything....but the system did not change
He didn't change the "system" but he is allowing Elf to hold onto the ball and initiate the offense much more often. You are correct though, having Frye out there allows Elf to do that; but previously, Elf was bringing the ball up the court and just handing it to Fourny or Dipo.
