our offensive line is the worst in the nfl they can't open open holes in the run game and they can't block for Teddy to have success, every time he steps back to throw they already got to him.

Norv is going to have to get creative. Looking for an AP bounce back game and no more penalties on defense.

The next two games are pretty huge against NFC playoff contenders. Green Bay also opened the door for the division again last night.

I was worried about how the defense would do with smith out, but they bounced back nicely from the GB game. They're so good at making timely plays. That forced fumble by Barr was amazing and huge. The Newman pick was great, and the 3rd down bullrush sack by Griffen too. I really wish they could pull the pass blocking together - I can't get a good read on Bridgewater's abilities yet because he's under duress too frequently.

Another thing I really liked - the playcalling. Too many times this year I thought the Vikings were very predictable in run/pass plays. Today they were mixing it up really well. They even threw in a rarely seen halfback screen pass and caught the Falcons in an aggressive pass rush.

I don't feel like our defense is dominant, but Zimmer always wins the chess match. Every it looks like someone has us figured out, we make an adjustment and shut them down. That's why the elite QB's scare me a little, if anybody can maneuver Zimmer it's going to be a Rodgers or Brady. I actually expected a better performance from Matty Ice. His 2 interceptions were pretty bad.
We're in pretty good position with playoffs, 2 more wins should do it. It would be great if we could catch Arizona for the bye, but they look tough.

Re: week 12: vikings @ atlanta, noon
its also important to jump out to an early lead, lets everyone do what they want to do
we can run adrian, zim can be aggressive going after people, don't have to drop teddy back into the lion's den on every play
also leaving points on the field is an issue to work on (blair and teddy's pick in the endzone (its happened a couple times now))
penalties are starting to mount as well - wonder what the deal is?
