It would be really nice if Mirza could keep shooting this well going into Brooklyn. Like EJ said in our game against the Dubs, sometimes it's nice to play in a familiar building. Now we just have to have Jeff play him big minutes if he does play well.

Watched this game at Buff Wild Wings in Tucson. Loved both of Leuer's dunks. I can't remember the last time Kief had a really nice dunk. I'm sure Horny and McD have discussed playing time for Kief at the start of the season to increase his trade value. When do these two sit down and decide it is time for Kief to go back to being a sixth man? Maybe that would help jump start his season.

When our starting power forward goes 3/12 and scores 7 points in the game (22 minutes) we are forced to rely on bench players like Mirza to come in and go ham, 6/7 from 3 point territory for 20 points. Mirza is not going to do that every game, so we need Morris to man up and play like a starting PF. It's not only offense where he is stinking it up, it is also defense and hustle/energy where he is lacking. Can't wait for December 15th to see if McD has worked any great trades to move Kieff.

That was a good opportunity for Markieff to play well against a (at least on theory) worse starting PF than him.

Hornacek tightened up the rotation tonight to 9 players. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come on this road trip?

He said after the GSW game that he is gonna play only the players that defends well or something like that. Booker and Archie are not good defensively yet, so Price gets more minutes.
I think he will incorporate Chandler when healthy and his rotation would be those 10 guys at most for at least 4-5 games to see if that's the best combination.

Question for mods. When am I able to pm people? I have a few to respond to but can't.

Well the answer I got was 100 days, but that doesn't make sense in your case, so it may also have to do with # of posts. I'll try to inquire further.

Thanks a bunch. I just don't want to come across as rude by not responding to pm's.

Or it might have to do with the fact you're a Braves fans and 99.9% of this board despise those pesky Braves. :x

Right. It definitely wasn't because of the following:

Teletovic 20/2/1
Leuer 16/4/2
Warren 15/11/1
Knight 16/6/4/2
Bledsoe 20/5/1

It was Tucker and Kieff with a combined 12/14/2

Oh it totally was. But when the game was there to be won, PJ won it. Clutch steal, clutch putback, hustle D-board. Appreciate.

Doubt he watches. Just box score analysis.

I must admit that Jon Leuer is becoming my favourite player on the Suns. What the hell were the Griz thinking about giving him away? Finally the Suns have an athletic big man who can also stretch the floor

Right. We should probably just ignore the below:

Teletovic 20/2/1
Leuer 16/4/2
Warren 15/11/1
Knight 16/6/4/2
Bledsoe 20/5/1

It was Tucker and Kieff with a combined 12/14/2

mmh where did I say he won the game? Just said he made a clutch play, which he did. A couple. THat's all.

Here is my thought on this topic. Do you think these stats might exactly be a result of Hornacek subbing the guys in at the perfect time?

Are we talking about the same Hornacek? You do realize that we almost lost the game due to his horrible timing right?

When Tucker and Kieff get traded I will change my name. You can pick from the following:

No-Morris
Mother-Tucker
(your choice)

Thats not fair though. As one will be traded within a year while the other one within 3-5 years. i will most likely be dead when both are traded. You can ask my sister what name I chose for you if that scenario occurs.

As much as I want Booker to get minutes, his defense in the GSW game was worse than a high school girl's. I remember 2-3 plays in a row where he lost his man, or just did something idiotic, and the Warriors scored like 8 points in quick succession.
