with all the issues Okafor has, would you trade our pick (to be unprotected) to Philly for Okafor?

Yes. No doubt.

No way.

With the second worst record you have 20% chance of Ben Simmons, 19% chance of Skal Labissiere and 17% chance of Bender/Brown.

You cant pass up 40% chance of Simmons (LeBronish) and Labissiere (Anthony Davisish) for Okafor (Al Jeffersonish).

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

Yes!! 100x yes!!
If you get a guaranteed player right now you do it!!
The real question is whether Philly would do it or not? Okafor needs a new environment and I hope the Sixers can see that.

If you do you get one of the youngest good core in the league and you enter the FA market with that on your side..

Remember top 3 is not guaranteed and this would net a guaranteed product.

Dream team to finish the season...

100%.

Guarantee you that stuff wouldn't be happening if he was on the team he initially wanted to play for.

yup all day....imo okafor is the most "skilled" center since hakeem olajuwon, and very well the best player of the best draft since 96 and 03.

They wouldn't, but hell yeah. I'd add a few of our vets on top, not that they would do that either.

The pick is top 3 protected this year, rollover top 3 protected in 2017, rollover unprotected in 2018.

I imagine it will take more than just Clarkson.

And they probably like Okafor more than Russell at this point.

Then we have no deal to be made.....we're not gona live and die by lottery picks like the sixers

I just find it funny that everyone criticizes us but we weren't even the worst team in the league the last two years. And we are competing a lot better than people like to admit. I think thats what makes people mad. 38% of our playing time is with undrafted FAs and we have been taking teams to the wire.

If we get your pick this year (praying for 4 or 5), I'm sure Noel will be on the trade block. Skal or Bender would be better suited if we don't get 1 for Simmons. My top 3 is Simmons, Murray, Bender.

The competing part is respectable...the fact that 38% of your team pt is going to undrafted player is not, your gm purposely constructed your team that way and its not because he had too, he wanted it that way

Dude, the 76ers are winless. 0-18. And they have the poorest point differential by over 3 points. How is that respectable? Worst team by a good margin.

No, the 76ers didnt have the worst record the last 2 years. The other teams got better. You sabotaged your team to become worse. You traded away your best player for a pick. That may turn out to be a good move in the long run. But the worst record this year, the worst record last 2 years combined, the worst record last 3 years combined.... thats not respectable.

LOL MCW as our best player? You don't watch Sixers so don't even comment. We have had some bad games but the last 5 games.. we have had the lead in the fourth in all of them. Our team just doesn't have the ability to close out right now. And I never asked for Respect. You're LA. You usually get whatever Free Agents you want. We have to do another route and after this draft, our team will be better than yours. And I'm going to the game tomorrow, I bet we win.

Also, check out the SOS on the Sixers this year so far. You'll find us 2nd with the hardest schedule.

The "respectable" part I was responding to was from LApwned post that i mistakingly attributed to you.

MCW was averaging 15 points, 6.2 rebounds, 7.4 assists when you traded him last year. Who do you think was better on that team?

He was on a team where he had to shoot... and shoot a lot. Dude couldn't shoot.

Hinkie saw an opportunity and sold high on MCW. And got villianized for it. Thats his job. Now if that picks turns into 4 and we select Murray/Bender/Ingram.... NBA will understand. Our team with the bigs we have... need a shooting PG.

Plus Nerlens Noel even said after MCW was traded... "Its great having a guy like Ish Smith because he's the first true PG I've played with."

I would have preferred we won in Memphis or Houston. But we want a win. This team needs it and deserves it.

You should be thanking us though. If we weren't as bad as we are... everybody would be hitting you hard. Media and league have not helped out situation by blasting us as much as they have been. Its a story. And everyone is biting on it.

Im not so sure that we'd get more blasting...this would only be our 2nd yr of truly being terrible and at least we tried to be decent with the medicore fa signing. But if that where the case it wouldve been better for us though, if we were worse than you guys Jeannie might have been forced to fire Jim right now
