It's ugly but I'm not giving up. This game can still be had.

It's not like McHale was coaching before, he was just moral support. JB probably ran the plays anyways.

I don't see how anyone can expect the Rockets to get better just by firing McHale. You just fired the cheerleader. You need to replace the rest of the coaching staff, because that's who's actually coaching. Otherwise, you need to instill a real coach who actually coaches as a head coach.

Terrence Jones is shooting 40% at the rim. He is also a bad defender. He has an incredibly low IQ. He is shooting well but his shot is so slow it doesn't even stretch the defense. If we can get any decent player for him we should do it in a heartbeat. He has basically become a shorter Patrick Patterson plus an extra block or too. And that guy lost his job to Scola.

Hey!

There's an idea!

Rockets vs Detroit Tigers.
Shooting average vs batting average. Straight up.

Who wins?

Nobody is lighting a fire under this team. Yes a few guys are playing hard but we don't have that hard playing guy whose going to get in their teammates **** for not playing hard.

Watching the rockets right now is kinda like going to the ER... you might not know what happened, but you know you f***ed up.

I think it's worse than that.

Sometimes it feels more like going to a proctologist and swearing up and down "you have no idea what that is or how it got there".

Not that I would know.

go rockets?
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Bickerstaff is bad. Ty got us back in the game and you bench him for Beverly who can't stop Reggie at all then the Pistons pull away yet he keeps Bev in. Also Dwight looks Putrid.

I've been saying that but apparently everybody thinks Bickerstaff will turn this around. Nothing against him but they just need a major coaching change and philosophy. These games are disgusting to watch.

Lol yea supposedly is where Beverley made his money was his defense. People tend to not know the difference between hustling and being an actual good player. I like Beverley's heart and hustle, but he's simply a backup PG who even then might not be able to run the second unit.

Bev won the game in New York with his steal so let's not get short-sighted on this.

The Rockets lost a b2b on the road which isn't the end of the world. Obviously getting down like that was discouraging but they still fought back. Yes, this team still has work to do but they are still a good team.

Ty played his first decent game of the season which is highly encouraging. Dwight was the only +++ player for the Rockets so you can't put any of this on him.

I know you guys tend to complain about everything but it's not nearly as bad as you describe. Of course it needs to be better in the same breath.

Beverley is great defensively on guys slower than him. Going back to last year he has been getting cooked by anyone with a quick first step. And Dwight has been good all season and has been the only source of constant effort except for Capela but last night that was not the case maybe he just isn't in good enough shape for b2bs
