This is ALL on Hornacek. He doesn't run a single play for Warren, and he is consistent with give the ball to Markieff in the post or on a pick&roll play. It's not working...we are 18 games in the season, but he continues with the same mentality.

I am done with Hornacek. He doesn't have the personality that is required to be a good HC in the NBA. At least now, I don't know if he can be a good one with more experience, probably he would be better like an assistant.

I really don't know what the deal is with Markieff. If there is an ultimatum to play him for trade purposes or something. But there were other parts of the game that were just sloppy dumb hero ball by Bledsoe, some stupid turnovers and that silly charge.

I'm not saying Hornacek isn't to blame for a lot of it.

And I do think that team has decent talent. I think with Tyson we win. But they had the better C, the PFs both played awful, but Young is decent, probably better overall than Kieff. Rondae Hollis Jefferson is better than Tucker, and our guards are better.

We both have ok benches...you would think our's is better but their's crushed ours the first time they came in and we had to climb back into it so I'm sure it was tough to go back to them.

Jeff is to blame and I also thought the Suns were toying with them for majority of the game and it cost them

At least now we'd get the 11th pick instead of the 14th pick!

The Nets are one of the worst teams in the NBA.Period. We can bet what you want that they are gonna end like one of the worst 8 teams in the NBA at the end of the season. They played a bad game, but we were even worse.
We wanted to build after the Toronto's win and we play this game....disappointing.

I don't disagree, but I also don't think any team in this league right now you should expect to beat, particularly on the road, except for the Lakers and Sixers. Other than them, I think anyone could get hot and play well.

The biggest time we really gave them a nice stretch, that probably, really, in the grand scheme of the game, really is the MAIN reason we lost the game, is that Larkin, Bogdanovic and Ellington crushed Price, Booker and Warren. There was like a 10 point run immediately.

As much as well all want to see them play more, that's what happened tonight.

Personally I'd bench Kieff.

So far on this road trip we won one I thought we'd lose and lost one I thought we'd win. Sucks too that we have another game that quickly tomorrow. Hopefully Chandler is back. But I predicted 2-4 on this road trip.

That is what I am saying. The Nets are just not a good ball club right now. I can't tell if we are good or bad, at times, we play really good, other times we lose to bad teams and play horrible. What we lack is CONSISTENCY, which is typical of .500 teams.

We are average. The Nets also beat the Rockets, Pistons, Celtics and Hawks. How many of those teams do you think we are better than? Most everyone loses to some bad teams. Luckily we've beaten most of the bad teams (only lost to one non playoff team from last year).

Brooklyn and New Orleans were playoff teams last year who didn't really make many changes (Nets traded Plumlee for Hollis-Jefferson who is starting and playing well). They had bad starts for whatever reason. They may have been 8 seeds, but they both made it last year and we didn't and our major addition was out tonight. Markieff is just costing us BIG TIME. I'd really like to see how the team would do without him. I don't know if Hornacek has been told to play him or not. I wish I knew the answer to that question.

At this point though, if McD told him to make sure he gets plenty of minutes, even he should start to see that he obviously should not get many minutes.

What is gonna upset me the most is we try to get a team together and compete. Meanwhile the Lakers will end up with Bill Simmons and have a faster transition then us to regain the Western Conference. (Watch the lotto balls fall their way)

Markieff is just such a mystery to me this year. He's honestly playing great ball but he just can't make a shot. He's so good at getting himself great 1 on 1 looks but he just blows them constantly. He's playing decent defense too.

In theory, he's the perfect starting 4 for the Suns. He's a guy we can dump it down and he always gets his own shot. It's sad to see him brick everything like this.

Did we just **** lose to the Nets? I thought Hornacek was a quality coach according to the "real fans" on this board

Kieff/Tucker out. Hornacek fired. Then if we are lucky a new owner.

It's always interesting to me that the team overall often plays better when he's out there. Good D tonight. Actually usually didn't hold onto the ball long, but can't shoot to say the least. But he is also making some bone headed moves and that offensive foul in a crucial moment. We just need to try and move him, or try and see how Leuer does starting (though I know those results haven't been particularly good). Maybe start Telly and if they HAVE to play Kieff, move him to the bench.

No way in hell I would ever root for the Lakers. If Simmons fell to the Sixers, I'll be less salty.

Well perhaps you will get your wish. After the results tonight we are now back to the 8th spot. Unfortunately, Minnesota would now get the 14th pick, and since that's the top 13 protected pick of their's that we had and we assumed would turn into two second rounders, it would now go to Boston for our half season of Brandan Wright.

Well.. That was depressing.

I can't wait for Chandler to be back to full health. This team isn't the same since he got injured. Also, I can't wait for Kieff to get injured again. Those 3 or 4 games were fun.
