Wall ain't gonna drop 35 every night, but if team executes offense properly (seemed like the TOs were down) and we give that kind of defensive effort, I have to believe they can give themselves a chance most nights. Offense should come back when Nene returns and Anderson, hell even Neal but the defense gonna go when he returns.

Porter and Beal need to be more consistent from 3 pt land.

But the defense was really encouraging.

Now do it again tomorrow

Anderson ought to keep Temple on the bench more of the time. This is a Good Thing.

When Wall plays like a star we can be a 50 win team. He needs to play like this more often. Not 35 points of course, that may not happen again all year, but a healthy point total and close to double digit dimes with good defense. Also just playing with that fire and ultra competitiveness. Seems like he hasn't had that typical John Wall intensity all year until last night.

Hopefully, the Lakers won't fire Byron Scott tonight. ALSO, gotta hope Kobe plays in the back-to-back.

Kobe went 7-26. I think the previous couple games he was 5-20 and 1-14. Altogether, 13-60 comes down to 21.7% FG shooting.

At this point the Wizards need to hope for Kobe and not a lot of Nick Young.

Kobe is a great player. He may not be able to consistently wring great performances from his body any more. But he's going to be capable of dropping 30 on some unsuspecting team on any night where he's actually feeling good.

I fully expect him to do it to us because that's the kind of luck we have.

I fully expect him to do one more 40+ night before this season ends. It's just the feeling he will do it one more time. Hopefully not tonight.
