Thus I think Mario, Deadman and AG must not be following coaches plays or they would probably get more minutes.
This is clearly not accurate on many levels.
Nicholson has clearly established himself as a rotation player over the last several games. He, along with Dipo, is now one of the first subs off the bench. Previously, he was not in the rotation at all and would only get spot minutes here or there. However, as of this moment he is and will continue to be a rotation player provided he continues to play at this level.
AG is also, clearly, a rotation player. How many minutes he gets depends on a number of factors but he is unquestionably a rotation player.
Dedmon and Mario are currently out of the rotation. It is possible they could receive spot minutes based on injury, need or matchup but, currently -- as things stand -- they are essentially out of the rotation in favor of players who have simply performed better overall. I see no evidence that "not following coaches plays" are the primary reason for their benching. Quite simply, they have simply not been as good as the other options.
If you watch games, Mario, AG and Deadman are often out of position and often make BBIQ mistakes. Thus, they are lower on the rotation. It is that simple. This is a team game, not a "Lets try to develop a superstar even though he is playing like dumbass" game.
And, I really want to see AG and Mario become stars in this league, but they have a great deal of learning to do before they can really help their team.
I watch every game at least once. You are flat out wrong regarding the current rotation.
Nicholson is clearly and without question a player who is currently solidly in the rotation logging over 20 minutes per game in each of the last 5. Obviously, this could change in the future but suggesting he only plays based on matchups is factually inaccurate.
AG is averaging 20 minutes per game on the season - he is also solidly in the rotation. I do not see evidence that he is "often out of position" and, in fact, he is clearly a plus defensive player. If anything, his issue is that he turns the ball over and forces things on occasion but he also maintains the highest PER on the team.
Dedmon and Mario are clearly not mainstays in the rotation currently. You initially claimed they were "not following coaches plays" and that is why they were not getting minutes. You now have abandoned that claim and instead assert that they are "often out of position and often make BBIQ mistakes." I guess your new theory is probably closer to accurate -- the fact is they have simply been outplayed by other players (Jason Smith has been better than Dedmon and the emergence of Nicholson has allowed AG to take Mario's minutes at the 3).
