Aldridge overweight?

Post#1 » by Phreak50 » Thu Dec 3, 2015 12:41 pm

Is Larmarcus enjoying the Texas cuisine a little too much?

To me, he is noticeably bigger than I've ever seen him, quite round in the chest/stomach and even the face.

He also seems slower and has less vertical than 40yr old Duncan.

It's too soon to judge if he really is a star or was he just putting up big numbers on a team where no one else could and they were there to be had. But his size and lack of mobility right now is worrying.

Never noticed the size thing actually.

I think he's been playing fine, the scoring will numbers will come along he's just too talented for that not to happen.

I've actually been really impressed with his defense and offensive rebounding those are two things that I really wasn't expecting him to excel at.

He can follow Duncan's or Diaw's path. I hope he makes the right choice.

I watched the last few games from start to finish, he is definitely bigger than I've ever seen him. He is playing better but I still think he won't be the player the Spurs saw in Portland until he is his slim(ish) self again. Lots of comments on the Spurs facebook page saying he is on Diaw's diet.
