Go Suns! I'm sticking with this crappy team even if they lose every game for the rest of the season.

It's my sports addiction unfortunately.

I dont think I've ever been this...after a loss. what's the word for it? Infuriated is a pretty strong word. Heated or irate is probably correct. I'm gonna take a breather and do something else. So even if we disagree on who gets what share of the blame, at least we agree that this loss was really, really bad. Cheers.

At least Greinke came to the Desert. I knew that I was celebrating too early the 'benching' of Kieff.
Hornacek is lost... too bad he didnt take that Iowa St job... he's about to be unemployed for good.

And one of the best pgs in history had no interest in knight as his pg of the future? Shouldn't that be a tip off? I think McD just looks at box scores and looks at these trades like its NBA 2k or something. I mean this is really a joke how poorly this team is constructed

Yeah, if you really go through his trades, he really didn't win many, and he's surely pissed off a bunch of players. He got Bledsoe for Dudley, but Bledsoe is likely not a guy that will ever lead a team to win a playoff series. Knight, same thing. I was hoping with both of them, maybe we would have ball movement, but then it ends up with two guys playing hero ball. It's just like when teammates watch Kobe or Melo....when you decide to involve them, they might be surprised. No flow.

Hornacek isn't coaching these guys to do this...he has said as much when he said his starters were not passing enough. At least he made a change, but the thing is, the ball handlers are the ball dominators...they are not getting the flow of the offense going, and they think they need to do it all themselves at the end of games, especially Bledsoe. He has clanked so many damn shots at the end of quarters or games I've lost count. He will hit a big three when we are up 5, but when we REALLY need one....clank.

100% right! Hated the knight trade but I still think the Bledsoe trade was the right move. It's just so hard to watch this team play. I honestly don't think I saw a single set play run tonight with Bledsoe and knight on the floor. It's all 1 on 1 ball and a high pick and roll. We have to get a real PG to run this team. I don't care if he scored 8 points a game but if he can rotate the ball with hockey assists and penetrate and create for others that's all I care about. Booker and warren are showing they are really high IQ players off the ball so just get a real PG in and let them develop. This team is just so impossible to watch right now with bledsoe and knight doing nothing but chucking up terrible shot after terrible shot

It almost reminds me of Marbury/Penny/Matrix/Amare. Tons of talent, horrible team.

We got ripped when we traded Marbury to NYK, but we dumped Penny's corpse and contract in the process and signed Nash next offseason with the cap space.

We really need a shake up.

I've thought the Hornack bashers here were being irrational, but now... I'm starting to agree with them. :banghead:

It's getting to the point where the frustration doesn't even come anymore when we lose. I'm used to it.

Aside from Bledsoe, Warren, and Booker, I can care less about the rest.

It's possible McD is insisting Morris get minutes in an effort to salvage his trade value. Would explain why Morris kept the starting spot so long.

Tough ... I would tell the GM fire me ... I'm not playing him.

Pathetic I tell you. This is the 3rd straight game where we led going into the last quarter only to lay an egg. Tell me the last time we blew 3 straight 4th quarter leads? Probably 2007?

Yeah knight and Bledsoe really just don't mesh at all. neither has a PG skill set but really needs to play the 1 because of their size. Maybe Booker and warren are our amare and matrix in that 4 player comparison? This team needs a PG in the absolute worst way but the only thing is we aren't gonna trade either. Just signed them to big deals and McD is gonna right this thing out until it costs him his job I think. If he does decide he wants to blow this up I don't see us unloading both. We are stuck with either bled or knight the duration of that 5 year contract. Tank for Ben Simmons please??

Any chance you guys are just trying to tank?

I can't understand how Warren or Leuer (in tonight's case) get so hot, and then inexplicably play fewer minutes than guys doing much worse?

What's your plan? Rubio is a player that makes a ton of things that we can't make, like pass/distribute the ball.

Checked the play-by-play, this is after we made it 98-92 with 7 minutes left. After that our only FG was Bledsoe layup with 15 seconds to go when they were guarding the 3. I'm not even gonna talk about the defensive end.

I'll chime in with the crowd. I'm sick of watching so many turnovers. They are killing us, particularly in these road games. You cannot win turning it over 18+ times a night unless you are playing lights out defense. We have the talent, when healthy, to rebound and shoot well. Particularly with our newfound depth at PF thanks to Leuer and Tele, we should be demanding better defense from our players across the board. Effort should always be there because we have subs who can play good minutes across the board. Eliminate the turnovers and we will win games.

As for Hornacek, I'm getting frustrated with many decisions. This team is better than it has played this season. I'll leave it at that for now.

As for McDonough, I think you're all crazy to say he hasn't won many trades. Bledsoe for Dudley is a home run. Knight was a home run. We will not get Ben Simmons with that pick. That was never a possibility, and Knight is 23 and putting up huge numbers. Ball movement needs to be better, but that can improve, particularly when your guards are 23 and 25 years old. What I've seen this year is Bledsoe's noticeable shooting improvement and Knight's more general improvement across the board. There simply aren't many, if any, 23 year old and under 2 guards outperforming Knight. Yes, he has his faults (overdribbling, for instance), but you have to look at everyone relative to their peer group. I've been impressed with Knight this season personally. Add in drafting Len and Booker and Warren and trading a 2nd for Leuer and I'm very damn happy with our GM. This team's problem is not a lack of young talent, and every piece we have in that group is McDonough's doing. Other teams that have been gifted generational players are struggling even more with players as young as hours (hello New Orleans).

The only thing you could really knock McDonough for is the whole Dragic/Thomas/Bledsoe scenario. For that, we have to see what the picks turn into.

My dad keeps reminding me how we used to take all 5 games on Eastern road trip with ease. I told him give us a prime Nash, Amare, Burke, Marion & J-Rich and we can.

I think our roster is fine, but I will say that Hornacek might need to go. I think it's time. I don't think he's a bad coach, but whatever he's saying doesn't seem to translate on the court. Thibs is still out there, right? Why not give him a call.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
