Cavs v. Pelicans

Post#1 » by jbk1234 » Fri Dec 4, 2015 9:28 pm

Sounds like Blatt finally figured out that starting Mo against good PGs destroys our entire defense. Delly to start.

If Ryan Anderson got play every game against us, he'd be the league's MVP. He just kills us.

i thought we were supposed to play defense. No way can you keep averaging giving up 50% shooting and 100 PPG and expect to win very often.

Wow, I'm surprised LeBron got that fouls call.

LeBron seems to have remembered that he's the best player on the floor

How come there aren't many fans here? Any forum most Cav fans hang around in?

Jeez, we're a team that can't either play defense well or score enough

TT's impact on the game against bigger line ups is minimal. They need to rethink sitting Mozgov in the 4th against bigger front courts.

I actually thought the Cavs played better than the Pelicans in the fourth quarter. You guys just waited too long to turn the motor on. You almost beat them anyway.

Pelicans were just pathetic and they had a friendly whistle. That layup that James missed looked like he got bumped.

Agree with the motor and the whistle. But it's 4 on 5 with TT on the floor and I don't think he got a single offensive rebound in overtime. If he's not getting you extra possessions against bigger front courts, his value is limited.

Guys we suck. Outside of the big 3 there isn't 1 other consistent role player I trust. The Warriors can put out 4-5 duel threats on the court at the same time, it will be just too much to handle. Just how I see it

We hardly suck. But I am concerned that we abandon any semblance of an offensive system and default to LBJ ISO ball whenever the game is close. It works when he can get to the hoop and doesn't when he settles for jumpers.

I don't mind LeBron iso at the end. What I see is right now is players not performing up to their contract status. Did you even read what I wrote? Tell me who can you consistently count on other then the big 3 to perform in a nba finals series? Its a bunch of 1 dimensional role players

Top to bottom the warriors roster annihilates us. It reminds me of Lebron's last season in Miami when the big 3 got crushed by a all around team with a great bench.

We are turrible!
Tristan Thompson the 82m man can't do a **** other than catch lobs.
Why do I watch this team, it is terribly constructed because of Lebron James.

Well with our starting back court out, you've got players playing higher on the dept chart than they should be. So when Kyrie and Shump get back, JR will be fine coming off the bench and Delly will be more than fine coming off the bench. Mo, Jefferson and Jones can go back to playing third string or being mixed into second string rotations. I'm more concerned about whether we're going to be disciplined enough to be a multiple threat team in tight games by still running offensive sets or whether it's going to be hero ball. I'm also concerned about Mozgov and whether he'll ever get to play in 4th quarters because I'm not sold on TT against bigger line ups.

But the reality is that all those guys you mentioned are only good at doing 1 thing. JR, Mo, James Jones are useless if their 3 point shot isn't going. TT can only dunk, and Jefferson is actually the most rounded but he is old now. And as you mentioned, they have to be put in a position to succeed by the coach, and I have my questions about Blatt too.

You believe the problem can be fixed once we get healthy, I believe the roster as constructed might not be championship material. It doesn't have enough balance to me
