any draft class before this season is a moot point when it comes to today. drafts don't have much to do with how you play as a team but if you like em so much ohio state projected to have 6 first rounders and 3 more first day picks, probably beats entire sec by themselves in first round.

it is not only a fact that sec is having a downfall but it is absolute certainty your conference is straight up garbage when its best teams struggles to beat likes of jacksonville st and florida atlantic

Are the 2006-2014 Draft classes moot points also? The 7 National Championships within that time frame?

It's definately not a fact that the SEC is experiencing its 'downfall'. That's just something you made up. And 5-10 years ??? Really? All I can do is laugh at that statement.

Yes, you can make the argument the Big Ten is slightly better this year but that's as far as it goes. It absolutely is not a fact.

Your points are the equivalent to me saying that the 49ers are good this year based off of making the conference championship in 3 of the 5 past seasons.

All it means is that the SEC has had the most pro talent out of all the conferences in the last decade, and I don't expect that to change.

And come on man, 'straight up garbage'? , that's a ludicrous statement. I'm sure you don't actually believe that. I can find you countless examples of other teams losing or struggling to non power conference teams.

and pro talent has nothing to with quality of teams or conferences considering like 5 percent of the players even get to sniff pro teams.

Just because the ACC and the Big Ten have gotten better doesn't mean the 'SEC is garbage.' The SEC is as good as its always been, but the Big Ten and ACC have caught up. Took them a while.

The SEC has been garbage this year. That conference championship game was painful to watch. Big Ten hasn't caught up, they've surpassed the SEC

The fact Florida played in the SEC CCG just goes to show how pathetic the SEC was this season. Good D, but arguably the most pathetic offense from a big name school I have ever seen in my life.

SEC is so overrated it's not even funny. Bama is only playing in the playoff because of past seasons success and the blind medias love for the SEC. They are given a pass that nobody else would be given. I would much rather see Iowa play in the playoffs over Bama.

I totally understand how fans of other conferences would be butt-hurt after a decade of SEC dominance. They are clinging to this outlier season as validation of the 'SEC being horrible"

The SEC wasn't good last season either. Not even that great the season before last either. This is going to be the 3rd year in a row the SEC didn't win the NC, count on it.

Just be glad you're playing MSU and not Ohio State again. The excuses from last year are still being heard :D

Alabama would shut him down just like they shut down Fournette.

I'm far more worried about the quarterback matchup where Michigan State has a significant advantage than I would of been facing OSU. I was looking forward to a revenge game.

With how Alabama played against Florida, I'll be shocked if they will come close to MSU

You're right they weren't close to MSU at all. 38 points apart to be exact
