How many of these turnovers are Dwight not being ready for the ball

12/8 Rockets @ Brooklyn
This Game is on Harden being passive and the defense overall just being bad. I hate this scheme. When it works it's great, like the fourth quarter when they were forcing turnovers, but when it doesn't there's wide open shooters and cutters everywhere. If it had just been solid and held the nets to their season average the rockets would've won. But taking chances killed them in the first half

They're just doubling up on Harden on picks. The problem is we're running it with Capela, because Jones is off the bench and Ariza got hurt. At that point, guys just hedge and double Harden 35 feet back, because who cares if Capela gets the ball 10 feet from the basket? Capela can't shoot or pass. If he tries to dribble to the basket, Lopez can go all out to block him, because Howard is no threat at 10 feet either and Capela is too green to make a lob pass to Howard.
The lack of Howard & Harden P&Rs is disturbing.

I noticed that too but there were many times where instead of taking an open mid range jumper he tried to force a pass, leading to a turnover

Corey Brewer trying to leak out on the break instead of staying for the biggest rebound of the game. Judging from where he runs in from he probably would've been in position to grab it too. Smh. Gotta be aware of the situation.

Capela cant shoot or pass. It kind of screws your offense. Put Jones in started or D-MO (he will get in shape eventually with more PT). Cause right now your offense is stagnant as hell.

Right now Capela is our best option. He's playing better than Jones (on a consistent basis) and Motiejunas is clearly not close to being back in game shape. They're going to have to ease him along.
