If you want to talk about crappy support you probably don't have to look any further than Manchester City.
The only time you could hear them was when they scored those goals at the end and everyone thought they had to clap for a minute.
And the only ones you could hear were those 7 - 8 thousand Gladbach supporters cheering on Borussia at E(mp)tyhead.

That's pretty much what we in Germany call Event Publikum, which means event audience.
