to paraphrase Katt Williams (when he was still funny): "If you make millions of dollars, live in Charlotte and don't smoke weed, I don't know what the **** are you doing".
Way to go Big Al, puff puff pass.

Wow and Illyasova got the offensive rebound too. Instead he had a Bargnani moment
edit: guess I didn't see the time left on the shot clock - didn't hit the rim

Matt Barnes easily could have made the dumbest mistake all year and instead leaves the game a hero with the game winner lol

It's probably just a coincidence that both of our teams suddenly look elite after losing our slow footed offensive specialist centers and our now 2nd and 3rd in the East. You guys should probably start JV as soon as he is even close to healthy and offer him a 5 year max contract. I'm hoping we do the same with Albus Jefferson.

I think it makes sense from your perspective, but JV has been a way more efficient scorer and better rebounder than Al Jeff this season (and has player within himself). We've actually struggled to score a lot because ppl have been barely guarding Biyombo - the difference is Kyle Lowry started playing like an MVP and making up for it. Charlotte on the other hand just looks plain better with their more athletic centers getting more playing time (Kaminsky, Zeller, Hawes), and it lets them spread the floor plus guard pick n roll better.
Either way, JV's contract is actually a very good asset (only 23 yo) if we decide to move on from him, while there is no way in hell Charlotte should consider signing Al Jeff to whatever he will command this offseason.

I'd probably have an aneurysm if we resigned Al.

I know that man, my point was that you were comparing JV and Big Al, but JV actually has a much more positive effect on his team - while big AL is definitely a bad player for Charlotte

Craziest part about that play was that Memphis had timeouts remaining. Terrible basketball play. He should thank his lucky stars that he made the shot.

Just wanna say that I like Boston's chances against GS tomorrow despite not having Marcus Smart. Smart is long, strong and so tough defensively that I honestly think he would give Curry a run for his money when you combine it with his competitiveness. Nevertheless, Boston is the second best defensive team in the league and expect Crowder and Bradley to get in Klay and Steph's grill early. Also consider that Brad Stevens is probably one of the best Xs and Os coach in this league. If there is any guy that will find a scheme to slow down GS down, it's him.
