Meaningless stat. All it indicates is that the rest of the stiffs besides KD and Westbrook are making shots and Russ isn't having to carry them.

Here is a stat I wish was readily available. The number of assist attempts a PG makes per game. That would be really interesting.

I can hear the Sports Talk guys across the country having a ball with that one..... "well so and so only recorded 3 assists last night but had 40 assist attempts.... this team really sucks".

Other than that though, looking good.

Sixers maybe? They're not gonna give up Covington, but I'd give Waiters up for a 2nd round pick at this point.

Maybe, sad thing is I don't even know there, and if they did they could just pay him in the offseason instead.

That said, Donovan is getting better, the defense and rotations are tightening up. Glad to eat crow there a bit. Dion still is bad, but Donovan is improving.

Yeah, can't complain too much right now. I'd still like to see Morrow get some minutes with Russ, but I get it if Donovan doesn't want to take a chance with his defense against the weak link exploiting Hawks.

Still, feels like we should be up by more. Stupid Bazemore realizing he's the scrub that's gonna go off no matter what and now he's just shooting whatever and making it :banghead:

Oh, and just a reminder, we're only six quarters removed from Donovan's biggest coaching decision of the year resulting in KD dribbling for 15 seconds and throwing up a contested three while everyone watched. Every coach looks great when his players play great.

Edit: maybe it's 10 quarters? I don't know, the last week is a blur.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I guess my avatar change helped old "Man-Panties" get his act together. He's getting better, no doubt about it and I am gathering recipes for the crow I hope I will be preparing soon. Man when he stuffed that ball back into "Booger" Cousins face I went absolutely nutz!

Bazemore + Thabo: 10/12 with 27 points

Welp, apparently if the Hawks release the ball from the 3P line this half, it will go in.

They've been letting a lot of contact go on our drives.

Kanter's lack of lift around the basket can be a real detriment sometimes.

Waiters taking too many shots. 3-10 tonight is not acceptable.

Donovan needs to get Durant on the floor, Waiters and bad defensive lineup makes no sense...

Say this every game and you'll be right 75% of the time. 15% you'll be giving him too much credit and 10% he'll look like prime Kobe.

Now, suddenly, everything is a foul on us.

Why is Sef getting respects from the refs?

Kanter and Dion gets hit with more contact and no calls

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
