didn't see his name in the prospects thread, so figured there might not of been a thread about him.

FSU has gone under the radar, they weren't even ranked, but they have a decent squad, 2 freshman who are killing it and XRM who was pretty good last year and is pretty decent this year.

They are in the ACC so they'll play against some hard competition, and its still pretty early to tell, but what are your thoughts about this kid, and if he ever gets drafted?

I'm interested to see how he stacks up against better competition, but I certainly like his ability to score and shoot, i think his shooting specifically will translate well, what do you guys think?

Apparently I'm not permitted to use the search function, but I was sure there was a thread with him from last season.

He's older than you think and needs to get drafted this year or he'll likely go undrafted next season. I like his potential though. I think he's only scratching the surface, but I think he's another player that could get fazed out if he's drafted to the wrong team.

Oh, if there is another thread, whoever finds it, hopefully the mods can just merge this then.

Oh wow, hes a '94 baby, so hes turned 21, and will be 22 by draft time next year and this is only his 2nd yr in the NCAA, you're right he isnt young at all in comparison to his NCAA experience.

I know he red shirted his first year in 2013, which really sucked but he has this burst of agility that catches me by surprise. I think of Carmelo in a pg's body, not in terms of production, but that uncanny burst of speed that catches you off guard for someone you assume to be a lot slower.

He's averaging 5apg, i think he looks to be a good spark plug off the bench f he ever gets it together, but i agree with you, he could get fazed out very quickly.

Despite all that, i don't really se him getting much buzz even after that 30 pts in 4 min stunt he pulled last yr. I think if FSU ends up coming out the ACC and making it to march madness, this kids gunna shine.

Yeah I've been following him pretty closely since last year. His handle isn't good at all and I consider him a SG. I think a team like the Hawks are perfect for his style of play.

Next OJ Mayo or Agent 0.. With his burst and quick release, I think hes Arenas with the right tutelage.

Is his handle really not that good tho?

I think it looks fine to me, but i don't watch him regularly enough to tell.

He had a high dribble and it would lead to a lot of turnovers in the NBA. He also doesn't have the greatest hands.

yea, he does have a high handle, but so does curry, deron williams, jamal crawford... although I do agree a tighter handle would probably yield less turnovers, his handle doesn't seem too troublesome, I think his defense can use some work, some east-west agility and sticking to his man would do him well.

And i'll take your word for it on the hands, he is avg'g 3 turnovers a game so he probably has poor decision making, and could tweak his handle a bit. But im interested to see how he plays when he isn't the number 1 guy on offense (Because dwayne bacon and Beasley are clearly the 1 and 2 this yr) and is asked to facilitate more as a pg.

He's a lot more unselfish than I expected. He's been the consummate passer with Beasley and Bacon added to the team which is very encouraging due to his offensive ability. I think he's really trying to make sure guys eat. He might be best served staying another year, but I think he has a promising NBA future.

I want a draft express video of him to come out already...I don't think hes getting the pub he deserves, cause to be frank this draft class isn't too strong, if there is a year to make a push it'd be this year.
