You really need a lot of things to go your way to have a streak like this. Boston did have plenty of chances though just like the raps did.

The difference today though is when Steph passes out of the double usually, he has the second best 3 point shooter in the NBA in Klay to pass to, and without him, they don't have a reliable shooter.

It affects Curry, but I think the main victim to Klay's absence is Draymond Green. If Curry is doubled he'll usually pass it to Green, who'll go streaking down the middle to either score or pass it to an open 3 point shooter. Taking away Klay closes one of his best options, and he's not as good as Curry at creating his own shot. He managed well in tonight's game though.

The Wizards could be in a pretty big hole by New Year's if they don't kick it up soon

I think the only really lucky break they've had was Lopez missing that point-blank shot to beat them. Otherwise their team has earned everything. Easily either the best or 2nd-best team of all time.

They're now down two starters and their head coach, on a back to back on the road after a 2OT game, and I'm still not confident the Bucks have a shot to beat them.

Well bucks are bad and they are also on a back to back. I would put my money on Warriors.

Gallo hit three clutch shots in a row.

Caught up on Embiid a bit. Physique wise he looks like he could snap Val (and most NBA centers for that matter) in two. Kind of like Biyombo actually, just like 4 inches bigger.

Nah, any team from Milwaukee to Detroit right now is just a 2-4 game win streak away from a playoff spot, if it remains this tight. A few teams will separate themselves (hopefully us) but it may look like this all season for the rest.

I'm fine with GSW hitting 73 wins. They're playing great basketball and it's truly fun to watch.

I don't care for this streak being hyped with wins from last season. Those wins shouldn't count. It should be this season's wins only. Instead ESPN is going crazy about GSW tying the Lakers on Xmas day.

It's also a real shame we didn't have a GSW -OKC/SA game this year. I trust those teams to go all out in the regular seasons more than the Cavs.

Probably, but this wont help in the short term:

Warriors don't miss the second three point attempt if they get the offensive rebound. Probably the best team of all time if people actually record that data.

Warriors looks like they will be going down to Bucks.
