Barring injury, I don't see him getting ballhandling minutes for us this year. I think he can still be good moving forward, and this is a good step.

I've been expecting this move I'd like to see some Christmas before Christmas so we can see how he does against NBA talent.

It was only for two days. He's back in Indy now

He had 27 points on Saturday and 17 on Sunday but had negative +/- each time.

Kinda puzzling to me... I wonder if Larry wants to see what he has in Joe young.. Im curious if he trying to see him play to maybe move Ghill? I'm not saying that they trade him right now but maybe in the offseason? I just don't see hills fit with this team when he can play consist offense or defense.

Hill's fit with the team is pretty clear. As for Young, he was sent down to get some playing time in Ft. Wayne when Indy had time off for a couple days. Essentially, he missed nothing in Indy, and gained some practice and playing time in Ft. Wayne. I imagine that Bird wants him around Vogel and the big league staff for his adjustment year in the NBA this year, but still wants him to get some run here and there this year in Ft. Wayne. Maybe similar to what Shayne did last year.

Either way, I can't imagine that Joe Young would factor into a potential move of George Hill in any way.

I like Joe Young's potential but he's not gonna displace George Hill. Not for 2-3 yrs at least.
