So after letting everything settle, and i had to think long and hard. This team is done, baring a major trade or them finally waking up and playing like they give a ****, they may not make the playoffs. It's now clear that Spo has lost or is losing this team, you can see it on the sidelines and on the court. Riley needs to make something happen because with Hassan being benched and Winslow who is AWFUL playing like he's the second coming of Wade that ain't sitting to well with some of the vets i bet. I hope they figure it out, as a fan i've already spent too much money to watch a weak product.

You sound like a severely spoiled fan. The Heat just lost to a quality opponent on the road and are still 3 games over .500. Every team in the NBA (save GS) has rough stretches from time to time.

I think these losses are good, a blessing in disguise. It may even lead to a players only meeting if things continue this way.....but i doubt it will come to that. Eventually we will start to click. Alot of new pieces, alot of conflicting ideas. I have faith in this organization, our players and coaches. Fans are quick to point fingers, wanting trades and people fired. We stick w/ what we have, we dig deep, figure this out and come out roaring once we do.

Obviously Spo, Wade and Bosh didnt like team basketball against OKC and CLE so we playing 2 against 5 again.
These is just pathetic to expect ppl without rhytm to score then.
Winslow is rookie and Spo playing him like he is 20m guy. He was good in defence but last 6 games he sucks on defencce and offence so much that isnt funny. Trade Whiteside and Dragic to NY for Melo and then will Spo have 3 heroballers to operate again becouse these is only system hes familiar with or change the coach.

This team is crumbling at the moment. At least from what I gather from players reactions (Whiteside insta, wade & bosh quotes). I don't wanna sound like chicken little but I can see this going really bad if we keep losing like this.

Then there's Riley who continues to believe in this guy, and in recent years has been giving out terrible contracts, McRoberts, Granger, Joel Anthony, Mario Chalmers, I would name Dragic but I feel he could get his swag back with another coach.

bad contracts are guys that do nothing and are taking up space on your bench. some of those guy helped us win rings (or didn't get in the way of winning rings) and more importantly aren't even on our team anymore. that leaves mcbob which doesn't make a lot of money. don't see him as a bad contract at all.

Lmao that's the stupidest **** I've ever heard. So Kobe taking up 25 million isn't a bad contract because "he plays" even if he takes 20 shots a game at 30% shooting.... Yeah right. A bad contract is someone who is paid more than they're worth full stop, if you dont think McRoberts earning 6 million a year to score 4 ppg, and do dribble hand offs along with bad rebounding and bad defense I don't know what to tell you.

last game was worse because we didnt even try to fix it.
this game was bad because we couldnt fix it.
same 4th quarter struggles, same offensive woes, same hero ball putting us in the hole.
we played good basketball the first two quarters but our play visibly suffers and changes in the 4th.

Bad Habits

Some of the hero ball comes down to lack to talent. If Wade passed it to Justice, he will simply give right back, or shoot a brick.

I think we made a mistake trading Chalmers, Tyler was out, and you can definite see how much the bench got decimated, and no depth.

I think if the Heat was going to trade Mario, they should have brought in more talent back, I felt, Riley lost that trade. (Or really Micky Arision wanting to save some money.)

Though Im not enjoying watching this team as much, they just don't play like a team. They are a bunch a parts that don't play good as a unit, and many times they are selfish, everyone seems to have holes in their games(Some guys are talented, but they don't play the game selfless, so even their talent is not enough).

Though I think the moment we traded Mario for scraps, I knew the guys upstairs were not as serious about really winning big.

i wish people would look at numbers before posting, or actually watch games. Since the trade Chalmers is shooting in the 30%s, 28% from 3, regularly fouling (last game he had 5 fouls in 12 minutes) and turning the ball over. Why would the Heat want Chalmers? He was garbage in Miami (addition by subtraction) and he's garbage in Memphis. He had a hot start but he's been pure terrible since then.

Hope you guys know pace doesnt determine if your good or bad.

Pace means getting the court and giving yourself a chance to score before the defense sets, and if you don't score before the defense sets you've still allowed yourself more time to run a set and get an open look.
Also running off a missed shot again another team makes for easy points in transition. Yes pace makes an offense much better, Miami are always playing against set defense.

green and dragons 3 point percentage was much better in Phoenix because they got out in transition and got way more open 3s. How can people not grasp this?
