You guys must not watch GSW play because I know of no team that dances and clowns on the bench as much as them. That said teammates are always going to celebrate the success of another teammate.

We need to get these top 5 overall picks involved in the offense somehow, these are the guys we tanked for.....it's crazy that they're pretty much bystanders in this offense.

i would say more these are the guys we ended up with. They arent the guys we tanked for.

Slice it any way you want it is what it is, we should be putting them in roles that can grow into something. Right now neither of them is being used in an significant way and these guys like it or not is the future.

Gtfo with that bs. Its not ok to act like jerks because you got a huge leads, specially a regular season game in Dec. Teams cheer each other and thats fine but what the Cavs do is act like straight up jerks. Atleast GS won a title and hasen't lost a regular season game in like half a year.

So, what you are saying is that it's okay for GSW because they won a title? That sounds kinda silly.

IMO this happened because James Jones went ridiculously hot. I think any team would celebrate a player putting up 11 pts in just a very few minutes hitting 3 3's and a long 2. I'm sure it appeared as though it was gloating over a blowout when you are the team being blown out though.

Sucks that the Cavs pretty much danced on our floor, but I'm not opposed to it in any way. They deserved it. I'm all for letting players have fun. Hopefully the Magic can get to that point one day.

LeBron has so much fun on our floor. You can tell he doesn't respect us at all and feels like he's basically going against high schoolers. EP not flattening him and letting him get the And 1 was the biggest missed opportunity of the game.

I think this loss did show that AG and Mario are not prepared for more minutes. They could barely keep up with Clevelands backups.

Good job beating the magic in a regular season game. You guys are so great. This is probably why your team is cursed. Show some class. Act like you've been here before.

Vooch was giving them a dirty look, wish he did something on the court though.

James Jones DEEP in the amway center (Austin Carr voice)   . Sorry I just had to post that

But I think u guys will make the playoffs, just haven't played well vs the cavs yet this season.

As much as we all want AG to go prime time, he just isn't ready to start. He plays like a rookie out there. His defense is fantastic but his offensive game is years from starting. He has to learn how to move around and socage the floor more. Also see that he struggles when he is taking it to the basket most times. He avoids contact and takes these hard fadeaway jumpers. AG also hesitates a lot when passing the ball. He stagnates the offense a lot. I don't see him adjusting to the NBA game like Payton yet. He was injured a lot his rookie year and missed camp. So. He already started the season behind. I see this as AGs rookie year. He is part of the rotation and is getting opportunity. If he stays healthy, I think the 2016-2017 will be he year.

Why are we complaining about how the Cavs celebrate? We have far bigger issues to worry about.

Debateable, but we should try it since all stats show he is one of our most effective players.

OrlandoDream wrote:He plays like a rookie out there.

Not true. Hezonja's first few weeks is the epitome of a rookie needing to learn the game.

OrlandoDream wrote:His defense is fantastic but his offensive game is years from starting.

We need people to do things on the court in general, not only be a good shooter. In fact, the only "non shooter" really is Payton and he's been our most effective scorer as of late.

OrlandoDream wrote:Also see that he struggles when he is taking it to the basket most times.

Yes and no. His post game is not good, when he goes to the rim it's a 50/50 thing as far as good or bad happening.

OrlandoDream wrote:He avoids contact and takes these hard fadeaway jumpers.

I've noticed this, he gets blocked more than he should when he shoots jumpers.

OrlandoDream wrote:AG also hesitates a lot when passing the ball. He stagnates the offense a lot.

I take the most offense with this statement. Not true at all, this dude passes it almost as soon as he gets it a lot and gets a lot of hockey assists. That's what I like about him is that he never holds the ball too long. That being said, when he gets the rebound and he's on the open break and gets slowed down, yes, much like most of our team he holds it more than he should.

The point Im trying to make is that he is still very raw. He is going 0-100mph in 5 secs. I do love the energy and hustle but the game has not slowed down to him like it has for elf. His game right now is all using his atheletiscm. AG is not a system player yet. That is why Skiles is not giving him primetie minutes. If we talk about talent and skill, it can be argued that AG is our most talented player. He is athletic, handles the ball better then most guys his height, plays flawless defense, is shooting the ball better, etc. He just hasnt figured out how to put all that together and help the team. Thats why I say he still plays like a rookie sometimes. Havent you notices that many times when he gets the ball, its like a little voice in his head says "GO! Show that defense what you are made of." Then you see him charge to the basket like a linebacker.

As long as he stays healthy, i think we will see from AG what we saw from Elf last year. EP was a completely different player at the end of his rookie year compared to when he first started. He adjusted to the game alot quicker then most rookies but we will see similar progress with AG. Give it more time. Kid just turned 20 for Gods sake.

If Skiles decides to follow through with his plan to start someone else in place of Frye, I'd be fine with any one of Nicholson, Gordon, Oladipo. Not sold on Smith as a starter yet, but could see Skiles starting him.
