The team is obviously still trying to figure out how to play together. It was working early on because George and Miles were on fire from three for 1/4 of the season. As awesome as that was, it meant the team didn't have to figure it out. Now that the threes aren't falling, we're forcing things through Ellis to try and get him going.

I also think that Vogel's idea was to try and use the fact that guys are right up on Miles and PG several feet from the 3 line now to get Ellis going with more space. But obviously it hasn't work so far.

And every single one of these games we've lost and let get out of hand early, we could have really used Turner's offense when the starters sit. As raw as he is, we were able to run the offense through him for short periods. Now it's basically just Stuckey (which is always hit or miss). Which ends up in Budinger trying to create (ugh) or Jordan Hill jumpers.

The one thing that I think I hate the most about these blowouts is that none of our young guys are getting minutes in them. Turner is obviously no one's fault. GRIII has gotten some run, but not as much as you'd expect in these games. And yeah Young has been in the D League a lot and that's only where Christmas has been, but why not have one of them active at the end of the roster if you're not going to use those guys there anyways.

I watched the first half. Morris was on fire, hitting very contested shots. KCP and Ilyasova were hitting from oitside. It is very easy to look good when all those things are going right. It doesn't mean we are done or trash. Just means we have to keep working. We gotta get back to running plays and keeping the ball moving even when the offense is bogging down. Too often we give it to PG and hope he can just bail us out.

Only game of the last handful that we won, we started the big lineup. Would like to see more of that.

The defensive effort today (watching it just now) is well below par. This is just not good enough. When things click this is a great team to watch, but when they don't click they are atrocious. There are only two players on this team worth keeping at the moment and that is PG13 and Myles Turner, everybody else should seriously start to worry and I don't mind if that message comes out of the Larry Bird camp.
Vogel is Dutch for Bird.

This is a good point. Pistons fans on the GB were saying this was like the 5th time all year the team has been on from outside.

I knew we were in trouble in this game when Blake started pounding down 3 pointers in the 1st half. That Ersan dude kills us every time as well.
