Re: General NBA Discussion Thread
Monroe has been awesome.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Just came here to say LOL @ GSW! Of all the teams to end the streak to, they do it to the lowly bucks. Oh well, there's always next century to try to beat the 33 game win streak

Lets face it, GS has a weakness in small ball. 76ers gonna run a Noel - Embiid - Okafor front court and start a new era in a couple years.

There is no way Green is top 10 player. Guy is most overrated player now in the league.
Defensively he is solid. Offensively, its 100% b/c of Curry. Teams double Curry on screen action and he gets either 1) Wide open 3 attempt or 2) Open lane where its 2-1 advantage. He leads the team in assists only because the defense takes the ball out of Curry's in favor of him either shooting or making the simple. That is how good Curry is

Teams would rather give up 2-1 disadvantage than to give Curry an open look.
Yeh he takes advantage of playing with Curry but after griffin & AD, there isn't a power forward i'd take before him. he can guard multiple positions, anchor a defense, hit the 3, pass the ball, handle the ball etc. dude is ridiculously talented

While Green isn't a top 10 player, but some of the things he does offensively specifically passing out of the roll against the 4-on-3 is not something that many bigs can do consistently and as well as Green. That alone makes him invaluable. If all bigs had that skill then he wouldn't have any value. Plug any other PF and they wouldn't be able to generate those open 3-point shots for Klay or drives against a rotating defense regardless of Curry's superior shooting.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

I think tonight is something of an anomaly. Just a thought, but winning a championship playing small might be a better gauge.

Re: General NBA Discussion Thread
I'm sad. I fully expected them to win considering how **** the Bucks looked last night. Oh well.
