No wonder. He was always good at scoring a lot versus crappy teams. When they need him in EL quarter final or something he'll stumble the ball from 3 yards over the crossbar again, though.

I don't know how its possible but Hakan Balta somehow became a top tier DC(by Turkey standards of course). Denayer-Chedjou-Balta-Carole with Muslera at GK, and the struggles Gala have on ST position, I expect a lot of 1-0 like games out of them this year.

Besiktas have by far the best midfield atm, their wingers are also top notch. Their striker rotation is much superior to Gala. However Wesley should keep Gala's offence to a certain quality. Fener's strikers and wingers are very good, but their team structure is atrocious to keep up with BJK and Gala imo. They won't be in this title race for long.

Not a coincidence that it happened the game where we replaced Hakan Balta with Semih Kaya. Semih is horrible and has terrible chemistry with Chedjou. Only year I liked him was under Ulfaluji's intense leadership.

Also for some reason Hamzaoglu decided to put Sabri at DR instead Denayer for the last handful of games. Also Gala conceded 2 ridiculous goals in chaos after sending off of Bulut. Not suggesting that he was integral to team defence but Gala, especially Sabri played like the opposition was 1 player short and left huge spaces for opposition. Of course I blame the defence as I am very used to doing so being a Gala fan but it was mostly because we had to use all our substitutions to replace injured players which left Hamzaoglu with 0 adjustment opportunities other than sideline instructions. I would blame the coach but it is very difficult to control such a chaotic situation with no opportunity to impact the game.

In Turkey football is run by amateurs with large egos who treat the clubs as if its their family business. Even since the incident with Tanman it was apparent that this president is not concerned with the success of the club, he is only concerned with his image as a successful president. I am disgusted that Gala has been left over to such classless men.

Me <3 Semih Kaya

We are in everything still and he has built a good defence so he deserves credit and patience. Yet I don't like the football we play, I don't like that he can't use a player like RVP, and his personality is very annoying.

We will see at the end of the season. I hope he is as good as he thinks he is.
