Your barking up the wrong tree here. Piston fans embraced Rasheed Wallace. embracedBill Laimbeer.

Morris is of the same ilk. A fiery passionate player that picks up techs and will lay another player out.

The Pistons are a perfect fit for him. Not to mention the fact that the Pistons have a top head coach. It's all good.

All for some wet dream of signing LA. That FO has made some very questionable moves over the years.

Yea I'm sure you would know what questionable moves look like as a Pistons fan.

There's nothing the Suns could ever do to top what the Pistons have done for the past 6-7 years

And the Suns didn't trade Marcus for some wet dream of signing LMA, they traded Marcus because him and Kieff together was a toxic combination and they need to be seperated for either one of them to play well.

Suns just need to rid themselves of the other Morris after the Dec 15th deadline and they can then cleanly wash the dirt off their hands that's called the Morris twins.

Am I supposed to be offended by this? The Pistons were a mess for a long time and we're stuck in the NBA gutter from the stupid moves they kept making. We've finally fixed it and are getting back on track and I was pissed the whole time they were incompetent. What does that have to do with this though?

I think that Marcus is a good player, probably perfect in a sixth/seventh man role playing around 24 minutes at SF and PF. He can be part of a successful playoff team, but I don't think he is that good to be an starter on a serious playoff team or a contender.

I mean, if you want to be a contender he can not be your starting SF if you don't have someone like Blake Griffin or Durant in the other F spot.
Probably Stanley Johnson can be your starter in one or two seasons, then that could be a perfect fit for both players and the Pistons.

Your posting without knowing the facts. You keep saying this rubbish that the Suns traded Marcus so they can sign LMA when they were going to trade Marcus regardless of LMA. Marcus wore out his welcome in Phoenix, he cursed out the HC, he cussed out the fans and he started beef with the Suns players before last season ended. Him getting traded was something Suns fans knew would happen long time before Suns were even linked to LMA.

A soft, push over coach like Hornacek can't handle a hot head like Marcus. SVG is a better fit for him and props to SVG for getting Morris to buy in but had the Suns not traded Marcus in the summer, he would still be a ball hog/black hole player for us. Plus him and his brother together is a deadly combination and not in a good way.

Marcus is a better fit with the Pistons than he ever was with the Suns despite what his stats or numbers with the Suns might suggest.

After drafting Darko; the 2005 finals loss; the 2006 conference finals loss, 2007 conference finals loss, 2008 conference finals loss; signing C-Vill, Ben Gordon, JSmoove and trading Middleton... you guys deserve it!

Why are you listing problematic feats that Dumars did, with wording implying that us fans had anything to do with any of these misfortunes? Go play in traffic.

Fair enough, I just don't remember hearing about the Suns desperately wanting to trade him until after he was traded and both brothers weren't happy.

If you spent time on the Suns board, you'd have known. Since Michael Beasley, Marcus was probably the least liked Suns player by fans. He was a douche here but SVG looks to have straightened up out which is good for you guys.
