he ate arizona down the stretch, really good player, he can creep into this years top 10 very easily. He needs a shot tho, but besides that, dudes phenomenal, so quick.

I think he's already in the top 10 and easily the best point guard in this draft.

I've said this another thread, but he reminds me a bit of Dwyane Wade, to be honest.

Yup, he's 7-8 on dx and espn at the moment. Jamal Murray is ahead of him on both too (though you might consider him a combo guy).

I would have took Dunn in the lotto last year, he'll go pretty high this year.

Outside of Simmons Murray and Ingram, Dunn has the most upside. Looks a lot like Wade

Yeah, I don't really consider Murray a point guard. Though he can play it in spots.

When I made this thread last year, I had him lotto. Now I have him at #5.

I see Wade in his movements but he isn't nearly that kind of leaper nor do I think he'll get up to 215-220 like Wade.

I am just not sure about Dunn, like I catched the same as you did last season, we were on board with him as a lotto guy at the same time, but I am still doubtful about him at the next level, he could totally be worthy of a top5 pick or bomb out of the league and be China-bound.
He is really talented but he is unorthodox in his style and his game is flawed in some difficult ways.
The same could be said about Westbrook though, and he is tearing the league apart, so, again, difficult guy to rank and evaluate.

I dont see why there wouldnt be a place for him in the league. When youre that good on the defensive side of the ball, have good size, athleticism, and are able to get to the basket on the offensive side. He needs to improve his shooting like so many prospects coming into the league but there is no doubt a place for him.

gets to the rim (check+)

jumpshot (ehh- better than mcw)

unless you're talking about his jumpshot, you're gonna have to explain those flaws you were talking about

I like Dunn. I think his floor is Reggie Jackson at least. He'll be a good pro.

Star in the making. He's going to be the second best player out of this draft. Will go top 5 in june.

Absolutely nothing like Dion Waiter at all. Dunn has much superior vision and playmaking whether that's in transition or in the half-court operating the P/R. Waiters only has one move in the P/R where he'll perform a "snake dribble/Ginobili" and doesn't have much change of pace to his game attacking out of a ball-screen like the use of a hostage dribble/dribble hold to keep his defender on his hip forcing the defense to converge and eventually finding the open man. Dunn already has those two pro moves and routinely finds Fazekas for open 3s when he gets the defense to collapse. In this day and age of scoring PGs, Dunn is pretty much a pass first point guard you can find.

After watching him again: I see a lot of Jason Kidd (early years but without the flashy passes) in Kris Dunn.

I agree with most of this. I dont think he is going to be out of the league anytime soon though. But Im not even sold he is the best PG prospect in the draft. I think right now he is #1 but just slightly over Jackson from ND. There isnt really a close 3rd. The only question I have for Jackson is his size. I think he has a higher potential than Dunn
