NBA'S JOHN WALL
THUNDERSTORMIN' AT STRIP CLUB
... THROWS $47K!!

12/14/15 10:28 AM PST

5 John Wall had one helluva Saturday night -- beating the Mavericks ... and then throwing a TON of cash at a Dallas strip club ... and TMZ Sports has the footage.

The Washington Wizards superstar hit up V Live in Dallas -- and we're told he went on a $47,000 tear ... showering the stage with fistfuls of cash.

Our sources tell us the dancers LOOOOVED Wall -- and say he's one of their all-time favorites at the club ... which is impressive considering it's frequented by huge stars like Drake and T.I.

In case you're wondering, Wall has made more than $50 million in his NBA career -- so, yeah ... he can afford it.

Well. What the heck else is there to do in Dallas?

so going to a strip club on Saturday night is going to affect his game on Monday night?

TGW,

How is that reaching? It's very plausible that after Sat night which more than likely carried over into Sunday, he was not ready and focused to play Monday. I just look at the facts. And the fact is 2/11, 6 points all in first quarter don't cut it for me. If ur gonna party hard, play hard. I'm not gonna judge a player on his extra curricular, but if his play is less than par, which it clearly was, I'm gonna question as many are. Great players don't take nights off. It's frustrating as a Wall fan because he has the tools to be great, but nights like last night make me wonder if he really cares about being the best. I begininng to think he's satisfied with his millions, and showing up for games here and there. Our teams as constructed doesn't have that luxury. Just my thoughts.

If these guys (in fact) party during the season, yea I can see it affecting their game.. No wonder they have consistency problems..

These guys are young. If there is no game tomorrow, then the night after a game is kind of like a Friday night for your average young adult working a 9 to 5 job. I don't really have a problem with them partying under those circumstances.

I absolutely do have a problem with players partying when a game is being played the next day.

I was ready to jump on the blame-partying bandwagon for John's play against Memphis. Then I realized that, as you point out, the partying was Saturday night/Sunday morning and the game wasn't until Monday night. That was plenty of time for John to recover from hanging out at the strip club.

John Wall had a bad game last night. Leave it at that. No need to nitpick his life and cherry pick something to bitch about.

I have no idea where any of this is coming from. Millions of people go out over the weekend and come into work on Monday.. how is this any different?

Lebron James still goes out and parties during the season. Heck, he was spotted just a few weeks ago partying in Miami

Might as well post the link, since it has a video (NSFW-ish):

http://www.tmz.com/2015/12/14/john-wall-v-live-strip-club-video/

But yeah. Fans and media types reach for explanations only when info like this is available. Unless the Nivek of strip club stats can show us a correlation between TMZ/Media Take Out articles on crime-free nightclub partying and poor on-court play, I think we can easily shrug our shoulders on this stuff and move on.

This is no different than the folks trying to attribute the Packers' bad play to Olivia Munn.
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

The game was on Monday night. What exactly is your point?

Monte and I had a shindig at The Hippo in Baltimore Friday night, I was perfectly fine by Sunday. Not sure what this troll's point is.

Return to Washington Wizards
