GT: CHA @ ORL Wednesday, 12/16 7:00 PM EST

Post#1 » by yosemiteben » Mon Dec 14, 2015 8:17 pm

ORL is on a two game losing streak and has lost three of their last four. They are currently sitting at a game over .500 (12 - 11) with a game tonight on the road at BRK. They are 7 - 4 at home with nice wins against TOR, BOS (20 point win), and UTA.

We follow up the next night with a game at home against TOR, so this could be a tough two game stretch.

We need this win to avenge them for their savage attack on MKG.

We get to face budding superstar Victor Oladipo.

Oladipo has actually played pretty poorly lately (40.6% FG, 23.5% 3PT, 3.2 ast and 3.2 TO in his last 5). Hopefully that poor play continues. Fournier has really cooled off too, and Harris has not been playing great.

Looks like Payton, Vucevic, and Nicholson are the only ones that have played well recently.

Cody will do better on Vuc than Al ever does I bet. This is a good matchup for us.

Just found out I'll be at the game in ORL. Flying to the States tomorrow to see family in Florida and - wham bam - they surprise me with great tix. They're going to regret it when I'm wearing teal and purple head to toe, have had six beers by the 5 minute mark of the first quarter, and am loudly questioning Fournier's gender.

Encourage Fournier to try gender reassignment. Maybe it throws him off his game. Congrats on the seats!

Will share some pics - Xmas present box seats of some sort - all I know is there is a very convenient bar adjacent. Could be ugly. Or glorious.

Meanwhile, I genuinely encourage all of you to never google "Fournier". Don't do it.

Would be interesting how Lin does against him.
MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.
Thanks for the honesty.

I can't decide if I'm more nervous or excited about this game. I'll be really annoyed if we lose.

No losing. Don't want to lose 2 in a row but have a feeling the guys will look rusty. First, the starters then the 2nd unit guys.
