Uneasy Discussion , end of Grit and Grind

So the era is ending sooner rather than later, but are the faces of GNG also getting shipped out?

With 12/15 upon us, it would seem it might

Allen is the one most likely to be shopped and to garner the most interest from teams who are competing for a boost on the perimeter:

Clippers
Rockets
Toronto
Washington
Pelicans

But Z-bo is less likely to be traded and garner less interest, but will garner more payoff and this might be the last year to cash in.

Toronto
Phoenix
NYK
Rockets
Charlotte
Indiana
Milwalkee

Some people are speculating if Memphis might swap Zbo for Markieff Morris and Archie Goodwin

After that it leaves us with some questions to be answered some say we trade with the Clippers (LOL?) but its a hard pill to swallow and something to consider

Don't think there is a ton of interest in either Allen or Zbo . For either I would not expect to return value back in form of a player but maybe in future draft picks. Usually would make such a trade if we're losing since it obviously makes no immediate benefit. More likely to fire the front office people at this point who devalued the franchise by putting forward an inferior product

At this point, if there is any interest in both guys, it's likely to be medium to low interest. For TA, I think with his athleticism and defensive prowess that's left, he could be of good use off a team's bench or starting at this point of his career. I still think Zbo can still contribute for a team. The team that gets him would have to put him in a better position to score better as his best years are steadily entering into his rearview mirror.

As for the front office, I agree there needs to be changes going forward. Wallace and Hollinger need to go and take Joerger with them.

I wonder if Conley might be the one to go. I can't see anyone else on the roster having much value.

A team like the Bucks could be convinced to give him up something serious for him (Jabari?).

The Grizz had a good run, but it looks to be over. Time to blow it up.

I'm not so sure if the Bucks are willing to trade Parker and fillers for Conley.

Hornets fan here.....
Interested in some kind of combo between B. Wright, Jeff Green, C. Lee, and Z. Randolph.....

Example, Green and Lee for Al Jefferson's expiring plus a 1st round pick?

Wright and Green?
Randolph and Lee?

What are thoughts on a potential deal with Charlotte?

Just don't see anyone on the roster for the Grizzlies to acquire for now. Only one who's worth any interest is Batum. He will be a FA in the offseason. Grizz could take a shot on him, if they don't go the rebuilding route.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist ^ He's sitting out the entire year.

Return to Memphis Grizzlies
