Mattbulls Post Game Story. I Was SAD. Now I'm Happy!!!!!!!
*I built this up a the game/week that would make us or break us.
*I mean how many times have we've taken a huge week-end series and then lose a nail bitter the very next monday or tuesday. Every week we do.
*So I work monday nights as a cook in a resturant so I never see the monday games I watch it with espn on my phone.
*We fell behing early and I thought we better retaliate quick!
*A DeRosa Single and a Pagan HR and I was only cloud nine.
*I Was Pumped
*Estatic
*Just Flat out enoying life.
*Heck we were going to be 3 games under .500 for the first time in a month!
*We kept tacking on runs.
*It's a slow night at work.
*Fast foward to the ninth.
*I'm done at work more minutes until the door are locked and I'm outta there!
*A party of 30 comes in!
*Then I check moy phone.
*8-3
*8-4
*8-5
*8-6
*9-8
*I'm p*ssed!
*I cook the food.
*I clean up the huge mess.
*I NEVER RECHECK THE SCORE!
*About an hour and a half after the party comes in we are finally done.
*I get in my car drive around for another hour.
While driving I:
*Curse Scott Eyre
*Curse Bob Howry
Tell myself I won't watch the Cubs again this year.
*Tell myself I know I will still watch the cubs this year, I just said that because I'm p*ssed.
*I basically relive my life as a depressing cubs fan.
*I come home.
*Turn On The TV.
*WE F*CKING WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've watched the highlights atleast 20 times and I've had a smile on my face for about an hour!
Lets turn this season around guys!!!!!!

Matt you missed the fan going after Howry.
He got jacked up.
I was doing the same thing. I hit my chair over and over again for like 3 minutes.

Yeah, all great era's have to come to an end sometimes.
Oh yeah, my favorite moment of the whole game was when Len's voice cracked when he announced Soriano's GW single! It was GOLDEN!
Here's his exact words:
"Into Center, it's going to Droooooooooo(girly voice crack)oooop down! Jones is in, Here comes Koyie Hill! CUBS WIN! THEY WIN IT! 10-9!"

Yeah I missed the game too. Was at a bar watching the Jays play the Twins with some buddies while checking the Cubs score when they showed updates. I just yelled out when I saw the Rockies scored 5 runs, some primal scream of pain and anguish while my friends mocked me. The Jays game ended and we left, I just assumed we took the loss until I went online late last night. Now I'm just mad I didn't watch it.
