yes..he played well first half, then disappeared second half. Hes the kind of player that needs the ball, to get into rythm and get into flow. Once you have kemba and lin playing together, where kemba just bricking shots and lin standing in the corner, he goes cold fast. Both kemba and lin need to start working better together...this method of one guy doing something next guy doing nothing is a terrible idea for offense.

it has nothing to do with Kemba tonight though...Lin had plenty touches tonight, in general he made good players, but his shots did not fall though...

Li seemed passive in second half. No sure what was going on. Everyone looked so tired. What did they do in 3 days off?

i would not say passive, probably more measured, he has been like this the whole season, he never forces things to happen, instead let the game come to him... kinda a perfect mindset of playing a complimentary role...

anyone notice how teams are double teaming on lin the past few games. Also pressuring him before the backcourt. They don't do it nearly as much to other players on the team, its pretty wierd

Batum is doubtful. Jeremys will have to step it up if he doesn't go.

Well he didn't disappear in the second half. He just played badly. Shot badly He could have made a difference and he did, for the bad...
He didn't do anything to help this team win last night...NOR did Kemba or Batum. These 3 guys need to play well every night. I just don't know if Lin has that in him. He teases you with greatness and then plays like dog ****......thats who he's been since he left NY

Lin to locker room. Jogged in, probably nothing serious.

No wonder Byron Scott didnt like Lin. Lin isn't tough enough to play an entire game on a full bladder, boy needs to MAN UP and play with GRIT. Just like they did back in the 80s.

Still though that 1st half by Lin against the Raptors was just amazing. I wasnt able to watch the game due to crap bandwidth, what happened in the 2nd that didnt allow him to roll on? I noticed 5 for 13 shooting, zero assists, and 3 TOs, that's not a good. At least he was able to hit his clutch FTs it seems.

As someone mentioned earlier, at least one of those TOs was a foul, and yes - Lin was 5/13 from the field in the second half, but he also dropped 17 points on 13 shots, which is decent. I'm sure fatigue played a factor (played 47.5 minutes on a b2b) as to his worse 2nd half, but give the man credit for his talent and willpower.

I do not blame you because you did not watch the 2rd half. Scores and stats sometimes cannot tell the whole story, especially on defense. It was cooled down a bit in the second half. But when we did not have our 3 starters and our bigs were in foul troubles, I could not ask a better game from Lin. Kemba did great too. Finally we seen these two Gs played great together.

Kemba and Lin can play great together; Kemba and Batum can play great together; Batum and Lin can play great together. They need to be Hornet's big 3, plus MKG and an athletic big like Cody or someone who can get rebound, play defense, and do PnR, stretching the floor is just gravy.

I'm curious to see what Lin's usage rate was tonight, he plays better the higher his usage rate is. I think the reason why Lin worked with Kemba tonight was because of the absence of Batum. If Lin plays with Kemba AND Batum, his usage rate would be nowhere near it was tonight imo.

The difference was that Lin took Batum's minutes and his shots. Kemba still got his shots in a usual but Lin's 20+ shots was an anomoly. This was a rare night for Lin, he'll probably go back to his 5-10 shots per night when Nic returns.
