The other night against the Rockets I was hoping Kobe had one more of those dunks (you know the one) in his legs to unleash on Howard one last time...lol

Everyone on the draft chat crapped on the Lakers for this pick and he's turned into a fan favorite in no time.

I just want him to play as Larry Nance Jr., hit those midrange Js, take and make 3s when open, abuse the boards for rebounds, use his athleticism to protect the paint and make highlight reels.

Mitch is making a lot of GM's look foolish, as usual.
On another note, Slava, I love your work but your avatar is disgusting, bro!

I'd love to see more Nance/Randle frontcourts.

The white dude's unadulterated excitement makes it worthwhile.

Re: The Larry Nance Jr. thread
I'd say his game trends more towards Shawn Marion lite than Draymond lite currently. Not that that's a bad thing

For a late-first round pick, I'll take that outcome every day and twice on sunday.

Go look at 82games.com, the line ups that list him at sf have Barnes playing PF in small ball line ups, which is just mislabeling. Anyhow his value absolutely skyrocketed once had started playing at PF.

Re: The Larry Nance Jr. thread
yeah, i mean Dray has no problem to guard SFs and can stretch the floor, despite can't in his first year.

Re: The Larry Nance Jr. thread
surely the starting S.F Going forward, this guy can do it all, i was super critical of this (especially when Looney was on the board) but he is a very well rounded player and a tremendous athlete, not saying he will be elite by any stretch but he can be damn good

Re: The Larry Nance Jr. thread
if he can hit the 3 and play good defense, he just might be the SF we need at backup

Not only is it not a bad thing, isnt it a good thing? Green hasnt hit his peak yet but Marion was better in the early part of their careers.

How does that make you better than the Lin, Gallo, and Wil fans who root for them over NY?

I'd love to see a small ball line-up with Randle and Nance as the bigs, but I think we may have to wait until our next head coach to see it.
