Carlos Boozer Meets With Bucks

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Thu Dec 17, 2015 9:21 pm

Carlos Boozer met with the front office of the Milwaukee Bucks to discuss a possible signing.

Boozer had a positive meeting with Bucks coach Jason Kidd and general manager John Hammond in Los Angeles.

Greg Monroe remains out for the Bucks with a sprained MCL and are short on frontcourt players.

Boozer averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 49.9 percent from the field in 71 games for the Lakers last season.

I dont see where the Bucks get value out of Boozer. Doesnt stretch the floor, can't defend and has lost a step athletically.

speaking from experience watching Boozer play is really fun, just not as much when he is on the team your rooting for.

I really don't understand how he isn't on a team right now.

Of course he's no where near his all star days, but he still finds a way to score.

He's a defensive liability but so are many guys who are in the league. Boozer can at least score off the bench, give you a good 6-8 points a night and on good nights maybe 12-14. I would think a team will for sure snatch him for the playoffs.

If the Spurs didn't have David West Boozer would've been a nice 3rd string PF who would know his role there.

Also I haven't heard anything about attitude issues? He seems like a rather calm relaxed dude.

Boozer is awesome at interviews.
He knows exactly what to say to get his foot in the door....
