If we can finally get a home game (and avoid Bayern) later, it'd be a perfect night.

No home game but a relatively free ride to the next round against Heidenheim

There is no such thing as a free ride to the next round for Hertha. Even if they'd be playing a bunch of RealGMers in the Cup, I wouldn't be too sure they make it to the next round

With that being said, Heidenheim was the best option and especially with the season we're having I think we should make it.

It's all part of the tanking plan. Wolves beat Knicks in the tanking game pretty well last season I guess. Add one more high draft pick to Wiggins, Towns and LaVine and a top team is basically guaranteed in a couple years.

More importantly, though, Guardiola is blaming the next doctor for their current injury crisis and Ribery going down again for at least another 8 weeks probably more.

I mean how about you just give those injured players more time to come back to make sure they are at 100% when they do? I mean this is the 2nd doc. within a few months who is saying players are not given enough time to heal their injuries and moron Guardiola just continues to blame the doctors lol.

Except Towns which I think he is already a fantastic player, other two are just slightly over average. Especially Wiggins is extremely overrated. I like LaVine and some of his skills but he will never become a great player because he has extremely low BBIQ.

Wiggins is a 20 ppg guy at age 20. Hard to believe he won't end up in 25+ ppg territory in his prime.

LaVine has poor BBIQ yes. He's also a poor defender.
However, in theory with his athleticism he should be able to get to the rim at will. There is nobody in the league who can stop him from getting to the rim if he attacks it. He just needs to do it consistently and when it's most effective.
He's perfectly suited for the 6th man scorer role.

Either way...if they don't blow the next draft pick Wolves will be a quality team for a while. Unless of course they keep Mitchell as head coach.

That's the problem. He doesnt do anything else than scoring. He takes a lot of shots and he is not very efficient. If Nick Young or Lou Williams takes as many shots as he does, they would be 20 ppg players as well. He won't be an elite player like most people seem to believe.

Well bbiq is the most important skill you can have. If you don't have one, your future are always at risk. Lavine has extremely low bbiq, takes idiotic shots, can't create for others. Yes he is quick and his athleticism is very very good but you can have same athleticism from a lot of role players. He is nothing special. And i think there are a lot of players who can defend him once they take him serious.

Towns is the only real talent in that team. And he is really really good. But too bad that team won't accomplish anything.

Efficiency will come. I liked the Sonics, too, until they moved to the rotten dirt of Oklahoma City.
Just look at rookie Kevin Durant statistics. He was absolutely inefficient as well but now he is one of the most efficient scorers in the game.

Now I'm definitely not saying Wiggins will develop as well as Durant did but I watched them both in the early stages of their career and they have the same potential.
If Wiggins improves on 3pt shooting and FTs you are looking at a guy who absolutely will score 25-27 ppg a night for sure. And thats an elite player.

Regarding LaVine. Its harder to tell whether he'll ever put his talent together with his low bbiq but he has the work ethic to do so. I believe he'll at least become a good 6th man which is still a pretty good outcome for the 13th pick in a draft. He takes lots of idiotic shots I agree but again he is only 20 and improvement should be expected. Also he is basically always playing out of position right now. He definitely looks much better at SG than at PG but we have a little but of a logjam at the 2/3 so he gets used as 1 too often.

Well Guardiola is not outta the door yet but it surely looks like he won't extend.
And Ancelotti is probably the top candidate on the market right now.

Sane is such a joy to watch. Here is to hoping he stays injury free and we get to see him reach his full potential.

Seems like the targets of Gladbach are getting more and more obvious.

Hinteregger(Salzburg) at cb and wingers like Jonas Hofman(Dortmund) and Marius Wolf(1860 Munich) are being reported as the ones Eberl's targeting.
Wolf has also been mentioned by a guy that has some inside info on Gladbach, so he might be a good call.

Though, with Eberl you never know and we might just end up with someone on no ones list.
And as long as he isn't throwing double digit millions at strikers, I'm good with it...

BTW: Now it seems like Arsenal's really interested in signing Xhaka. New week, new club interested or something like that...

17 goals in 14 games. He will easily score around 30 goals this season.

Hard to believe this mediocre Wolfsburg team actually finished first in their UCL group.

Ah now I get it. He'll still finish at max. 25 goals in Bundesliga. Only ones getting to 30 might be Aubameyang and Lewa.
