If all done right, this could be a basketball nerds paradise.

The Woj superfriends experiment looks amazing. It's basically every non-ESPN writer/analyst worth following.

We are actually an enjoyable team to watch this season while having success - which helps.

i am not a fan of Woj... the guy obviously is good at scooping, but his articles about team managements, players are very biased, his tone toward them depends on whether he could get scoops from them, pretty snobbish,it is very obvious...for example, you will never hear negative things about Doc Rivers from him...
for NBA writers, i still like Zach lowe the best...

I'm aware of his methods. Honestly don't think he's doing anything different from his contemporaries, it's just on a larger scale so it gets noticed. We're apparently on his good side. It's a symbiotic relationship, we give him info for his scoops, he gives us information on other happenings around the league.

Honestly, though, I don't think he offers much as a writer, his value is definitely in his ability to break news. Conversely, Lowe is a better writer but his "oh, you guys didn't know? I knew that months ago" BS wears on me. If you really knew something you'd tweet it for the recognition and to build your brand, a la Woj, not try to brag about it after the fact.

The rest of his team, however, offer a lot of different perspectives, and are the real reason to be enticed. For instance Givony is probably the best at draft breakdowns, and Marks offers great insight as a former executive. Not to mention the RealGM-groomed Charania. Honestly, Woj is probably on the bottom-half of reasons to be excited about "The Vertical."

The bigger problem is that Jonas has steadily gotten slower and more earth bound which has produced an Al-fense effect on their play. Jonas has a nice offensive game but there's just not enough basketballs to go around between him, DeRozen and Lowry, the latter two playing really well this season.

James might have just killed a fan who was sitting court side.

Interesting to see how much WAS and MIL have struggled. I thought folks were giving them a bit too much credit in the offseason, but I didn't see them struggling as much as they have, especially MIL. Does anyone expect these teams to have a major turnaround?

Yeah, the Wiz will make the playoffs. I didn't realize the immensity of the dropoff between Brandon Knight and MCW. I think the Bucks set themselves back with that trade.

Shouldn't the punishment for MULTIPLE DUI arrests at least be as harsh as the 20 game suspension Jeff Taylor got last year?

Holy cow! Detroit and Chicago are in triple overtime. All the Detroit starters have at least 41 minutes. Morris has 51. Four of them have five fouls, the other starter has four.

Drummond is a absolute monster. If he stays healthy he will go down in history.
