Remember this? I hope Teague is ready.

Teague doesn't say stupid, inflammatory stuff....but he often strays into territory I wouldn't expect to hear from the leader of my ball club.

I remember years ago I used to follow him on Twitter. He used to re-tweet some of the most juvenile, explicit, unprofessional content. I had to stop following him just ton get that stuff off my feed.

A couple of weeks ago he was pretty dismissive of Demarre on his return from TOR. To DC's credit, HE said the right thing to defuse from becoming a bigger deal.

JT0 would benefit from some basic PR type tutorials. Or just some basic tact...

Waaaay too serious buddy.
In the heat of the game trash talking happens. Much ado about nothing.
What he said about DMC was also nothing so there wasn't anything for DMC to diffuse.

I hear what you're saying.

But the whole reason Demarre even commented on it was because it was bandied about in the media. It was a pretty surprising sentiment.

I just don't see team leaders like AL or Millsap even making throw away comments like that. I don't see guys like Steph Curry (who's much more polished than Teague when it comes to public comments) making a passing comment like that.

Guess I just expect him to be a bit more mature, vanilla, savvy with his comments at this point. The Isaiah Thomas comment simply reminded me of it.

I take nothing these players say about past teammates seriously, just like when Westbrook was asked about Reggie Jackson and he said "Who" - it's silly gamesmanship. Much ado about nothing.

Glad he had a little emotion, don't have to be a moron, but don't want them to look like choirboys either.

Ironically, I get the feeling that Westbrook and Reggie Jackson genuinely dislike each other.

Which I never got from Teague and...anyone. JT0 just seems dismissive about everything. To just not GAF.

Sometimes I think AL's intangibles just spoiled me in what to expect from twenty-somethings...

Good win tonight. Hopefully it springs our boys to more success in the immediate future.

I loved this game. Earlier this year (and sometimes last year) we would have kept gunning away from the outside, thinking they would fall eventually. I loved how they went to the rim over and over again, no matter what.

Sap was a man possessed in that 4th, forced the refs to call whistles in our favor.

I have a sort of off topic thought though, I wonder about the training staff. They were allegedly responsible for resurrecting Curry's career after his multiple ankle injuries but Jeffrey can't seem to go 2 weeks without tweaking his ankles.

Teague doesn't wear hightops, might be why he's prone to turning his ankles. Last season Korver told him he'll twist his ankle, and he did.

After some SERIOUS early season struggles, Dennis looks like a starting caliber PG again.

We need to know by season's end whether he has the chops to take the reins of this team.

Horford seems to be working himself out of his doldrums.

Working in the paint is extremely effective when your team's outside shot isn't falling. 68 points in the paint is fantastic production.

We don't have the caliber of players to depend solely on jump shooting. Attacking the basket has to become a bigger part of the offense moving forward. (Acquiring a few more slashers to the team would help, also.)

Not pretty but good grind it out game to watch. Dennis and Millsap have been struggling lately but good to see both of them step it up in this one when the team need them.
