First, during the free throw, from the first dribble to the attempt itself, time goes down as if the game were live. In the old days, the basketball clock went down regardless if the play was dead.

Which leads to this: for every free throw that is attempted in the game, 5 seconds is added to the 4th quarter as extra time. This gives the opposing team extra opportunities to close the gap, even steal a win.

Well we don't need the extra 5 seconds for every free throw Wammy because we stop the clock now. They might have needed that in the past, but not anymore.

should have had the fifth starter problem solved by now. I see a huge problem with the second unit and especially jamal. he is just out of it. with Austin out maybe we will see a different kind of play out of the second unit. I would also like to see cole play because josh is just bad and I had hoped he would be better. after all there is a reason these type of players continue to be traded. I hope they can find someone to trade for that can help. maybe they would like to get matt back. ha ha
