Understand, it wasn't ALL of them not connecting but probably just a few key players.
Everyone knew in 2014 Thibs was gone and who his successor was going to be it was on these boards. He was a lame duck coach with the FO deciding to side with the "injured" players, come back on your own time we'll get rid of the big mean coach... only a player knows when they can come back.
It'll be very interesting to see if Thibs ever really reveals all that went on in Chicago during his years in Chicago in book form, it would probably be a very interesting read. Would also like to know his thoughts on individual players.
Butler is a hard working player, I kinda expect he has problems with teammates he thinks could be doing more, both in games and in practices. He's actually the type of leader you want on a team.
