I would mention here and there that I didnt think moose was genuine in wanting to build something with this team and make a real brother hood here.My opinion would get shot down as being overblown. Not saying one night at a strip club proves anything, but the way this team has become a TEAM, which you can tell in how the guys gelled with one another since his depature, the way dre and jackson have become so close even tho jackson hasant even been here a full season and dre and moose have spent a few here together, the way moose could care less about signing for a few million less but dre is fine waiting on getting his money so it leaves us with some more cap space, kinda makes me fell I was on the right track.

I agree. i said he was selfish from the minute it was clear he didnt even want to put in the time to try and gel with dre better on the court. i didnt think it would work but it also didnt seem like he wanted it to work. better for us in the long run.

Moose has always been a great teammate. He's even bonding at the club.

Yes please. At least Caron got some run from us last year with the way he bombed 3 balls against the other team for us.

And he's a vet too, I'd love to have him back. Him and Reggie fed each other well.

Also, Jeremy Lin is getting paid how much?????

Pretty good article on Reggie
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-basketball/25417650/reggie-jackson-getting-used-to-his-dream-job-starring-for-the-pistons

Reggie and Dre's relationship:

“We had dinners after games,” Jackson said. “It became that. Then it became we played video games, trash talk a little bit about who's winning here, who's winning there. Just hanging out all the time. I forgot I had an apartment of my own, I had my own condo -- I just basically was at Dre's all the time. We had practice together and then we would go play the game together, eat together, just hang out. We'd be up all night, end up just talking the game, trying to figure out what we have to do to get better and to try to figure out how to be a dominant force in this league.”

That sounds like me at 14. NBA players live the life.

Even the Bulls management has been lulled into thinking they are uber talented when in reality they are not. Portis should be playing a ton of minutes on that team without question. He would give them everything they are lacking.

Someone here was an advocate for Portis prior to the Draft - I can't recall who though

You know, the Bulls management is stupid so I wonder if Stan could work some kind of deal to get Portis on the cheap?

His pre-game mental ritual is imaging his opponent beating/killing his mother. He mentioned as much in pre-draft interviews.

Is anyone else watching this Denver/Pelicans game? Two utterly trash teams that play zero defense. This year I have watched more basketball then I ever have in my life. This is a joke of a game. its 83-82 with 6 to go in the 3rd!

I once again know every player on every team. My eyes see basketballs when I close them...

Taj (or Portis) would be a great get, but we're completely devoid of trade assets unless we foolishly give up on SJ. We don't have excess quality players at any position or high upside projects we aren't playing, so we have nothing to trade in-season. Unless of course, someone wants to gift us a quality player -- a rare event that has already happened twice in the last six months.

Taking on a bad contract is about all we could do.

We don't even have Singler/Augustin/second rounder type assets to luck into a Jackson-esque personality dump like we did last year.

I think one could argue that Jennings, Tolliver, Blake & Dinwiddie have some trade value. Meeks would need to return and play well for a while to have much value though

Dre/Baynes
FA or trade/Illy
SJ/Morris
KCP/
RJ/

We need another guy that can create off the bounce and another shooter PLUS a legit starting PF moving forward.

Of course BJ & Meeks might be the guards...which leaves us looking at PFs in free agency

You know my brother floated this trade idea to me and its far fetched but depending on how bad the Bulls want to shed Roses contract...

Rose&portis for Jennings, Baynes, Tolliver and next years 1st.

Why would anyone give up a 1st for Rose?
