I would have preferred a draft pick if I'm Philadelphia, but that Foles trade doesn't look so bad at this point.

This will be the week the Panthers lose. And it'll be good for them. Get it out of the way.

Time to snap some streaks. We haven't won two in a row all year and we haven't beaten Buffalo since the '91 Super Bowl.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Seems like everyone is picking the Giants this week just because they've had a history of playing spoiler. I still like the Panthers though, Cam has just been too hot.

Damn, you're right so far.
Carolina has a legitimate chance at 16-0 now. Bucs and Falcons is what they have left . They could rest guys and still win those games.

There's a reason I wanted to see the Giants lose even though I'm a fan. I don't even think Carolina has played very well. Considering Atlanta has been garbage when they played and the Seahawks were mediocre do schedules get much easier than Carolina's? The NFL should be embarrassed if this team goes undefeated. It gives me hope as a Browns fan.

The Browns have been pathetic, but with Gordon possibly coming back and some luck in the draft I have some hope for next season. More for the Browns than the Giants at this point.

Re: NFL Week 15
For kicks, let's just say that both The Seahawks and Panthers win out, then the Hawks beat the NFC East winner and then face the Panthers in Carolina, the Hawks being 12-5 and the Panthers being 16-0. What do you think the line would be? Considering their records, especially the Panthers being undefeated and playing at home, and the Hawks being a mere wild card team, you'd think the Panthers would be a big or at least a solid favorite as reflected by the line. My guess, however, is that the line will be pretty close in that game, even a fair share of experts picking the Seahawks to win.

Yea it would be an interesting situation, I think Carolina feeds off the no respect card and their lines have been disrespectful all year considering their record and margin of victory in many games. I'd say the line in this hypothetical game would probably be CAR -3 or 3.5 which would really motivate them.

Yeah I would be shocked if the line wasn't -3, -3.5 or -4.

-4 or -3.5 is a solid favorite, that means vegas giving them over 65 percent chance of winning. my guess panthers would trample hawks at home though.

Re: NFL Week 15
The Redskins are a win away from clinching the NFC East. Never thought I'd say that this year....
Cousins is blossoming into a damn good QB. I think he's top 10 right now already(bottom of the top 10 but still top 10). Since Jackson returned to the lineup his #s have been among top 5 in the league in yards, TDs, yards per game, completion % all that jazz. And Jordan Reed is a top 5 TE in the league easily.
Anyways, other thoughts....
Beckham is a complete thug. Great player no doubt, but there is no place for that kinda crap in the NFL. If it were any other player on any other team he's ejected AND suspended.
Steelers might be the team that wins the AFC with that offense. They're unstoppable.
The Cardinals might be better top to bottom then the Panthers. Panthers are damn good but Newton doesn't have the talent around him that Palmer does(which is why Newton's season is even more impressive).

I've heard, could be wrong, that home field accounts for about -2.5 to -3 points. If so, I wouldn't consider Carolina being a "solid" favorite at -3.5 or -4. Solid seems more like about a minimum of a -6 point favorite to me.
Perhaps just me.

Re: NFL Week 15
frequent mistake of casual gamblers. 3.5 point spread sounds low enough so it entices the fave bettors but in the realm of nfl betting that's a substantial favorite. if you bet 3.5 point favorite on moneyline you would only get -200 odds, which is like wagering 200 bucks to win 100.

Funny how you all in here think Aaron Rodgers and the Packers will be an easy out in the NFC.

Cardinals are done.
Just like how the Palmer injury last year ruined that season.
The honey badger going down its to big of a key player he was DPOY worthy.
Such a ****** feeling being a cardinal fan

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

I've never been a football/point spread gambler, so I will defer. I trade a lot in the markets, and that's enough for me.
As a football fan, and a Seahawks fan, I'm just happy that we're in the playoffs again, probably as the 5th seed, with not an entirely unreasonable chance to make the Super Bowl again. I wasn't thinking in such terms a month and a half ago. How could I?
I think it's easy for people to forget just how psychologically devastating last year's SP loss was for the fans, the players, the franchise. I'm actually surprised that we seem to have recovered enough to make another run at it, however it may turn out in the end.
