You can't generalize the usage of Hassan in the 4th quarter. Tonight he had a matchup that favored him staying in here because Plumlee would've most likely feasted on our small ball lineup but couldn't really punish us keeping Whiteside in the paint. Us shooting the ball so well also really opened things up for Hassan and the way they were throwing everything at Wade driving, the space was just there.

As for the officials, I thought the little black guy was the worst. He seems relatively new, but the 2nd technical on Goran was ridiculous and a sign of massive insecurity. The guy should not be an NBA official.

Regarding the game, it's good to have bounced back but we've got to tighten up our act defensively.

On this game in particular you're right, but I could name you a couple others where Hassan probably would've destroyed the opposing teams' smaller lineups. At some point, you have to play to your own strengths and stop allowing the opposition to dictate what you do and how you do it. Our small-ball lineups will never be at the level it can be, since our shooting isn't consistent enough nor are we fast enough. Not saying Whiteside's the end all be all to our late game situations, but let's not act like this guy is some immobile stiff. He can run the floor, rebound, and defend the paint, all things that are great to have in late game situations. You have a point on the shooting this game, though. Didn't look at it like that 'til just now.

I like the way our offense is starting to come together, especially when Bosh is aggressive and mixing it up offensively. But once we combine that w/ the defense we played up 'til the Hawks game last week, then we'll take off.

daaaaaammnnn missed a good game

reading some post game stuff... Bosh and Whiteside looked great. Wow Whiteside actually playing in the 4th? GASP!! I'm guessing he had an advantage

lol the 1st quarter didn't seem good, giving up 30+ again, but we scored 30+ in the 4th to win it... whats with us sucking in the 1st? I'm hoping its just lack of familiarity with opponents as to our actual defense.

Bosh liked his match up vs Ed Davis i guess. He was attacking the rim and getting in the paint. This is what we need from Bosh, not the jump shooting guy we saw all too often.

Dragic getting tossed was a joke. That ref needs to grow some nut sacks - no room for catchin' feelings on the hardwood.

Whiteside played great. Green once again a fantastic spark off the bench. He hit some timely shots that helped us get the lead. - his impact is understated. I'd go to the extent and say if it wasn't for him we may have lost this game.

I disagree. We were getting smacked by the Blazers who to be honest are trash. We pulled out the win but it was very ugly for the most part. Wade, Bosh, Dragic/Whiteside will be our most successful order. Especially for the playoffs where I can't wait to see Wade in action again. Whiteside gets his points by doing the thing she did today. Offensive rebounds and lobs from Wade. How many did he score when we fed him in the post today? I really can't remember if he scored like that or not.

I gonna watch the game tonight, but I do not think it is a coincidence that Whiteside played down the stretch and had success offensively when we shot 52% from three.

Yeah, but at some point in the first half they outrebounded us 14-5, Whiteside only had one (or was it two?) rebound in the first half. Plumlee/Leonard made him their son... Glad he woke up in the second

first time he got to play real bench minutes when his usual bench minutes are/were few and inbetween. Shooting helps but that's aside from our problem with the starters. Putting a shooter in with our starters won't help much when they have real issues working fluidly together. You can break up the starters to put more shooters in there but it's not going to work much better with a lone shooter imo. I wish we could have Klay Thompson or Kyle Korver for at least a ten game sample size to put this whole thing to rest
