They *should* but too much of the time they don't do that, and that's why this stuff got said in the first place.

Seems he burned up a lot of it in parts of the fabanse, not so much for me, but we'll see if it turns out to be a good investment by him.

It's being read as almost a sure bad play, but who knows, maybe we come out and kill the Nets and get back on a roll.

Season needs some drama team is boooooring.

Bad play? It's a horrible play.

They should come out and kill the nets regardless of this Diva's public opinions.

Honestly, still gonna say it; i hope Jimmy succeeds in lighting some fires.

It's nice cause he's going at the whole damn organization. The coaches (FO appointees), his teammates, himself... And ultimately the FO, because everyone knows you can only expect so much from 2 injury-prone ex-stars and a bunch of young duds.

GarPax keep collecting their pay-check with their dud teams. They fire anybody trying to challenge their authority. Let's see ya fire Butler.

True, he can be a bit less of an asshole- maybe invite others to his morning training club. In fact, that's part of leading.

First ELITE 2-way player we've had in a while, kids. He can play shut-down defense and score big buckets. Can't say the same for too many players in the last 15 years.

But in general, I'm tired of seeing him play impact ball on 2-ends while every other guy coasts on 1-end every 4-of-5 games. It's BS and I'm not surprised he's snapping.

Considering Butler didn't receive any punishment for any of these trifles KC scatter shot out, kind of hard to suddenly buy that Jimmy is like the Worst Person In The World.

And Joakim wasn't defended for his actions like Butler is being defended by certain people here.

No one is more defended than Derrick Rose. Going Clubbing when his team loses in playoffs, its about life after basketball, accused of rape, its about 2017 free agency, its not my job to recruit, only plays hard on national tv now, quitting in the playoffs.

So true lol

It's also possible ( actually likely) that Thibs, Pau and Jimmy felt like more minutes , more reps and busting your guts on each possession even during the regular season was the ONLY way to play basketball. There are several verifiable statements that can be attributed to this.

On the flip side, folks like Rose, Taj, Noah, Kirk PLUS Gar and Jen and now Fred ---- maybe all about optimizing the regular season INSTEAD of maximizing it.

Through that lens Jimmy will always see the rest of the team as not trying hard enough.

True but two things that I wonder is if Rose was really sick or was Hoiberg making an excuse for his bad play. Was Rose blurred vision as bad as Hoiberg wanted to make people think. I mean if Rose was driving himself to practice his vision wasn't all that bad after a few games into the season.

Rose only plays hard on national tv has got to be frustrating for a guy that has play d score and play the most minutes on the team.

Not only that but Rose and Butler don't play well together.

Jimmy is talking about Rose, Snell, and Mirotic who are playing like crap and Hoiberg is defending them and not saying much to them about their bad play.

Mirotic got benched. Snell's minutes have been Boganized. Rose got pulled from a game out of normal rotation. Fred isn't idly standing by watching. H e has a different idea of how to handle the situation. You can debate who has the right approach. But there was no reason for Butler to do what he did.

Rose's vision issue over the recent stretch was explained as "he still has double vision when he looks down". I don't have any idea whether Rose drove himself to games early in the season or how his vision affects his driving.

The thing is Jimmy is saying coach has to be meaner and stop trying to be friends with players. Yes benching is good. But sometimes you have to get in your players face. Because Mirotic still hasn't done much, Snell has done much, many they needs some Thibs yelling at them to get them playing better. Rose is probabaly going to be Rose play however he feels like it good or bad.

Hoiberg needs to be Like look if you ain't come to play tonight why are you in this locker room. If you didnt come to play go home.

He didn't say anyone sucks and he even included Hoiberg needs to yell at him. Yes he cursed a coach out I'm sure atleast 8 of our 15 players have before two but just never got reported. It happens. I don't agree with Jimmy doing that though I'm not defending that but it looks bad because KC reports it at the wrong time.

i can only hope Hoiberg laid it out straight to Butler in their little talk and let him know hes the one in charge and if he has a grievous with his coaching to come to him and not air it out to the media

i wouldn't even be mad if he choked him like Pax did Vinny lol because its looking like Jimmy needs to be put in line and quickly because hes getting a bit too brazen and if he gets a pass for calling his coach a pussy then he can do anything
I don't do the dishes, I throw them in the crib

Inaccurate in a court of law. We can't prove the FO released dirt on Jimmy. We just use our heads for things other than beer bong receptacles. Hope I made it less offensive to you, ya title cop.

Please change the misleading thread title. The FO did not go 'nuclear' on Jimmy, unless I totally missed something.

It'll be nice to see us win the Nets game and then have media people getting their microphones in all the players and Freds faces - asking about what they thought about Jimmy's comments.

Will be even more fun if we lose the Nets game and the above happens anyway.

Thanks for the media attention Jimmy. Coz we really needed it.
For love, not money.

I can't recall a time I've heard a player call out a coach to that magnitude. Not only is he subliminally calling out players for not doing their job, but wants to coach the COACH?

If this was D-Rose, I can't even imagine.

For the FO lost credibility to me when KC wrote that the FO believes this roster is a "championship caliber". I know jimmy was a little unprofessional with his assement but at least he wasn't delusional like the FO.

We will see what kind of man analyst butler is in the coming days, weeks and months.

It is disappointing that hoiberg needed "big brother", aka front office, to fight his battles. Until proven otherwise hoiberg is a wussy coach who can't fight his own battle. Come on, fre, man up, stop hiding behind garpax's skirt.
