We will see what kind of man analyst butler is in the coming days, weeks and months.

It is disappointing that hoiberg needed "big brother", aka front office, to fight his battles. Until proven otherwise hoiberg is a wussy coach who can't fight his own battle. Come on, fre, man up, stop hiding behind garpax's skirt.

Inaccurate in a court of law. We can't prove the FO released dirt on Jimmy. We just use our heads for things other than beer bong receptacles. Hope I made it less offensive to you, ya title cop.

Hasn't miss leading titles always been against form rules?

Yes

Allright, I'm suspending myself for letting that happen. I'm out like Mark K

I heard ol' Jimmy sends his teammates calls straight to voicemail. When Mark Wahlberg calls though? Answers on the first ring. Smh just unbelievable.
I'm not here to argue.

Was waiting for KC to dump some of that cold water down our throats.. Had to wait all the way till the end for it. Bastard.

Maybe a slip up by KC.

Some on this forum have argued the FO didn't feel this was a championship caliber roster, and this year is all about just a lazy stroll transition and evaluation season for Fred and the gang. Whoops.

Not like its hard to piece together they've felt that way since the start of last year.

Just because they felt that way last year doesn't mean they felt that way at the beginning of this season.

I still maintain they've decided to retool after this season based on evaluations from Hoiberg. "Let's give it one more shot, then we'll know who to replace."

Something like that.

He's talking about Rose. Hoiberg saying Rose was sick when he wasn't and saying Rose still dealing with blurred vision when Rose drive himself to practice without complaining.

Don't think anyone has said its ok. Most all has said its not.

But just like people said Jimmy is no LeBron to be saying stuff like this, it illustrates a real truth in the NBA.

Players that get it done on the floor, and bust their butts every night, are going to have more power and leeway to flex their muscles in terms of team say so, than guys further down the totem poll.

Jimmy is no GOAT, but some of these comments go to my point and seem way worse than anything he said:

Michael Jordan wrote:Quote:

Who are the sources of those quotes? Did Michael say those things publicly to the media, or were they reported well after he was done playing in some tell-all book? Because I never recall reading any of them?

You're entitled to feel any way you want about Rose sitting out the entire season after tearing his ACL, but he has never thrown teammates or coaches under the bus and in turn, his teammates and coaches consistently stick up for him.

If Rose were the one who called out Hoiberg last night and cursed out the coaching staff during a film session, this thread would be on Page 99.

I haven't read through the rest of the thread past page 35 or so yet...

But didn't Rose blame "playcalling" in part for blowing the Phoenix game? That sounds like a direct critique of the coaches.

He said Fred Hoiberg is too laid-back and isn't coaching hard enough? really?

No he said they needed more intensity. Not remotely the samething. It is called a reach.

Just to play Devil's Advocate...

MJ warmed up by himself before at least every home game. I'm sure there's prolly a 'right' way to handle it and a 'wrong' way but seems like some long time Bulls media types would know this if I do.

Its just my opinion not facts. I'm just talking because I don't believe Rose was sick atleast not enough to just play as bad as he did and if Rose was not driving I feel this would have been reported.

I wonder how Thibs feels about Rose. I also wonder how Derricks teammates felt when his brother told ESPN that the Bulls trade deadline activity would be a big factor in whether or not his brother came back from his injury before the end of the season. Let's not turn this into a Rose thread. He is also guilty of some stupidity. Most twenty somethings don't make great decisions. Suspend Jimmy for a game or two. Move on. No need for the Bulls usual games through the media mouth pieces.

Taj just shrugged off Jimmy's comments last week ( Scoop Jackson interview) and said that he doesn't feel the same way that Jommy does.

What I'm saying can't be both true is that Jimmy is lying but people were right about the team quitting on Thibs.

I mean based on eye test, effort is the same. If they quit last year, don't think they have stopped quitting.

It's also possible ( actually likely) that Thibs, Pau and Jimmy felt like more minutes , more reps and busting your guts on each possession even during the regular season was the ONLY way to play basketball. There are several verifiable statements that can be attributed to this.

On the flip side, folks like Rose, Taj, Noah, Kirk PLUS Gar and Jen and now Fred ---- maybe all about optimizing the regular season INSTEAD of maximizing it.

Through that lens Jimmy will always see the rest of the team as not trying hard enough.

True but two things that I wonder is if Rose was really sick or was Hoiberg making an excuse for his bad play. Was Rose blurred vision as bad as Hoiberg wanted to make people think. I mean if Rose was driving himself to practice his vision wasn't all that bad after a few games into the season.

Rose only plays hard on national tv has got to be frustrating for a guy that has play d score and play the most minutes on the team.

Not only that but Rose and Butler don't play well together.

Jimmy is talking about Rose, Snell, and Mirotic who are playing like crap and Hoiberg is defending them and not saying much to them about their bad play.

Agenda much
