I would move him for Cousin because he is a talented big man. This allows you to redo a lot of things.

Russell is not exciting me. Mudiay will end up better in my opinion. I know he struggles to shoot, but so did Wall. Mudiay has better vision and far more upside.

Dude Noah is definitely in Roses camp. Never got that feeling. Noah likes Snell more then Butler. Jimmy actually is not that well liked.

He gets knocked down and is in a tussle. No one comes.

I actually think Rose is the one trying his best to get along with butler. See everytime jimmy falls Rose will always be the one running to help him up. Rose always look for butler to get his shots.

Yes, absolutely. Rose high fives, helps up, and passes to Jimmy far, far more than the other way around.

I wouldnt even take wall right now. You cant win with a guy like Wall. But I am also very high on Russell and think once he gets a new coach, he will take off.

But imagine a Rose-Cousins PnR and even PnP. Cousins is somehow a great 3 shooter. Or at least was. Just saw he is at 31% now. Started out around 45% on 4 attempts. But Id rather he stay more in the post though. His overall percentages arent the greatest being at 42%.

No way Jimmy wants to be traded or is asking for a trade. He just resigned. He knew about Fred when he resigned.

I really think this all boils down to Rose.

As far as I can tell, Jimmy Butler is a guy who works extremely hard, wants to win, plays his ass off every night, and is generally well-liked by teammates. Yes, these comments were out of line and he needs to learn from his mistake, but let's not overreact and turn this into some irreparable issue.

Is there any reason whatsoever to think Jimmy is generally liked by anyone other than McDermott? Serious question. Not saying there's a bunch of evidence that he's disliked, but...

He resigned because he didn't have a choice. There was more money here. Any offer put out the Bulls would have matched. He could have pulled a Monroe and taken the one year QO but he gambled once before...

As I recall, there was a Nate/Jimmy/Taj group at one time. Whether Taj is a still a friend, I wouldn't know.

We can call a spade a spade though. What Jimmy did was wrong. No matter his intent, his comments were out of line.

Jimmy coined himself as a leader before the season; saying he thought the team needed more of a vocal presence than they had last year.

I actually agree with him on that. We need more leadership in the locker room, but calling out your coach isn't leadership.

That said, I think Jimmy is a good guy and just wants to win so I think you can redirect that energy and competitiveness for the benefit of the team.

Think what you want!

Please. don't patronize me... you come here all the time claim to be an insider and you clearly aren't. I know a couple and you're not one. Everything you post about knowing players and hearing things has always been false. So, sorry if I don't buy that crap. The rest of it is just common sense.

Taj and Butler are not even speaking. Again, you don't wanna hear it that's fine. I get bashed for Melo info, which was 100% correct until he made a last second ditch. His travel plans were booked, he was on his way.

Take it how you want. I'm not a Taj fan, but he has been nothing but a professional. I can't say the same about Jimmy.

As I've said before, Jimmy needs to start sleeping more and staying away from 4am bars.

No way Jimmy is taking about Noah.

Order would be IMO:
Pau, Niko, Snell, Rose

What is the passive or aggressive fight here?

The "fight" seems to be Jimmy versus the rest of the team. A fight that Jimmy has picked and is constantly stoking the fire on.

I'll use another Bears' reference on this; Jay Cutler, who despite being thrown to the wolves when he got here, has been surrounded by incompetent coaching/management and had the crap beat out of him behind a putrid OL, never called out his teammates or his coaches to the media. Ever. Even with how bad it got with Trestman, he played a good soldier to the press.

Maybe it was quite different what happened behind closed doors, but he didn't let that get outside the locker room.

Jay has had every opportunity to throw his teammates, his coaches and the organization under the bus, but he hasn't. Jimmy needs to keep his mouth shut when he talks to the press. Criticizing and calling out your team is one thing; putting a name on it and airing out dirty laundry is another.

Hopefully this is a lesson in leadership for Jimmy because he really has an opportunity to own this and move forward. In fact, I agree with Duck that this could be a blessing in disguise and bring the team closer together if it's handled the right way.

They have, and to me, the first two have absolutely nothing to do with the 3rd. Just KC trying to spin a narrative of Butler as selfish.

Maybe this is Jimmy's way of bring the team together or trying to lead. I mean, it's a really bad idea, but it's just strange with how good a teammate Jimmy has always been to start doing this. I know he's a different player and person now that he's ascended into being a really, really good player, but I just can't see this guy being a cancer.

Which is why I think there is a silver lining here if the coaching staff and the players handle it right. Jimmy may just be trying to light a fire, which is the wrong way to go about it or get people so pissed off that they start fighting for each other, which is again is the wrong way to go about it. Idk, just weird to hear all this coming from a guy like Jimmy.
